How could I have lived so long without discovering these tasty gems? I love beans and actively seek out organic heirloom varieties. These are among the best that I have eaten. Full of flavor, lovely mouth-feel, easy to prepare. What's not to love?

Perfect product. I tried to make traditional red bean steam buns. The sweet red bean paste turned out great. I still need to work on the bun recipe so it is less dense.

I purchased these dried beans and started cooking a batch the day they arrived. I soaked them overnight, and cooked them about 25 minutes, they turned out soft but not mushy, retained their color and shape, taste about like a pinto bean, but my research indicates this is one of the most nutritious beans, so why purchase a lesser bean? The bag is sturdy and should keep the beans quite fresh. Fresh, easy to cook, good taste, excellent nutrition, good color and texture. The beans themselves are tiny, about 1/3 the size of a pinto bean. I will definitely purchase these again.
