As one who has always bought baggies at a Dollar Tree store, this Glad purchase was an impulse purchase. Being alone, I don't have a need to burn up baggies, so this purchase makes me feel like a rich person wasting good money on a brand name. So, yes, for me, this 50 count box of Glad baggies will definitely work for me. This is the first time I buy baggies where the box claims these are microwavable...

Nice easy seal

Glad Zipper food storage bags stay zipped tightly which prevents spoilage of fruits and vegetables when the air is squeezed out. Also, I have vigorously shaken bags to mix up a batch of Cool Aid, pudding mix and Instant pancake mix when out camping, with no leaking or bag breakage. Last week I used the bags to decorate a cake by just filling the bag with my frosting and then cutting a hole in the bottom and squeezing my frosting "flowers" onto the cake. They are durable bags and for some things can even be rinsed out and used again. I highly recommend them.

They are easy to store on the shelf ready to use.
