When there was so much uncertainty, hopelessness looming over the world...this book and his IG posts were like a breath of fresh air...calming people’s hearts and souls. Since its publication in Oct 2019, this book has sold over 1.4 million copies world wide, becoming an invaluable source of comfort and positivity during a year like no other. This hardcover is one of the most beautiful books I have read till date! The print is amazing, the illustrations are wonderful and the quality of the paper is amazing. Reading this book will take you back to your art classes in school days with colouring book in hand. Reading this book was a visual experience! I'm glad I invested in a hardcopy as this book is a work of art and it needs to be treasured and cherished. It is a timeless classic and one I will definitely reread for months and years!!! It is certainly one of my best reads in 2021. And it is a wonderful and heart-warming picture book, with incredible and uplifting messages!!! This book has come to mean different things to different people. For some, this book was a source of strength and for others, it gave them hope. As for me, this book is like a little bit of treasure. It’s the type of book you pick up when you feel like you need something warm and cosy at the end of a long day to unwind peacefully. You can’t have seen this book and not wanted to hold it in your hands, hug it close to your heart and lose yourself in the enchanting world it promises to take you to. More so if the author’s Instagram has become your elixir. A lonely boy befriends a mole, a fox and a horse. Together they learn who they are and who they want to become and, in doing so, impart some of life’s simplest and greatest lessons we could all imbibe to make our world joyous and beautiful. In the elegant, easy to understand illustrations and calligraphy, this book speaks a universal language of kindness, friendship, and love. It can’t take more than 20 minutes to read through but I urge you to savour the illustrations, cherish each thought, and reflect on every emotion it evokes inside you. You will notice your stress and anxieties slipping away and feel overcome by a sense of calm. Your heart will feel full and, when you turn over that last page, in all likelihood, you won’t want to part. A priceless work of art, this is a celebration in moments of joy and strength when you may feel low. A book for all ages and times, be prepared to surrender to it in entirety.

This book is a series of conversations between The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse 💁🏻‍♀️ And it truly doesn’t matter if you’re eight or eighty(as said by the author), you can still enjoy it! It’s a wonderful book to read if you had a bad day or to get you out of reading slump, because you’ll just immerse into the world of beautiful illustrations and words. I haven’t come across a self-help book that was this wonderful! This book is all about friendship, kindness and love. 💕 In the end it left me with a huge smile, some tears in my eyes and a warm and fuzzy feeling in my heart. ❤️ This is one such book that’ll stay with me forever and it’s easily one of the best books I’ve read this year. If you ask me what’s the one book(apart from The Midnight Library) that I’ll recommend to everyone, it has to be this!! I bought this book because of its story also I liked art sketches and it has best page quolity, but there are some minus points in this book. The cover is thik but it can be possible to damage it should be have plastic support to cover, but no support, no less in this book, some pages are blank and this is not good for value. I bought this because I'm interested in the story otherwise the value is very high and that is I will give the three 🌟 only.

The boy, the mole, the fox and the horse by Charlie Mackery. Every now and then one stumbles upon a book that leaves you spellbound. This special book speaks volumes about friendship, and also about a great deal more on the quintessential aspects of life. The exquisite simplicity of the dialogue between the boy and his companions, and the evocative beauty of the accompanying drawings, reach out to touch the heart and soul of readers of all ages. The detail in the illustrated musical scores that frame the text also reflect the loving care that has imbued every aspect of this book's creation. The profound wisdom within its pages speaks into our vulnerability, our struggles, and our deepest fears in face of life’s challenges, bringing comfort, connection and hope.

The book arrived promptly. It had some slight marks on the cover which were easily removed with an eraser. The finish is as expected for a nice, hardcover book. The font was a bit annoying to read but there were quaint little touches which made up for this. For instance, inside both the front and back covers were a piece of music, which I'm assuming is the theme for the story. I got my son to play it for me so I can hear it in its entirety. It was melodic, and matches the general gist of the tale. All in all, the story closely resembles Winnie the Pooh. It is an abstract tale with inspirational nuggets and makes for an easy read, can be completed in less than hour, perhaps even half of that. However, I will take my time as it is a leisure story, to be enjoyed slowly. It makes for a great present to someone who is a bit down and in need of some cheer. The story is simple, about kindness, compassion and self-discovery. However, it would also be suitable for people who enjoy art, pretty and cute things, as well as subdued splashes of colour in their lives (both literally & figuratively). I got it for myself, after seeing a copy at a friend's place. However, it undoubtedly would be a great, ageless gift for someone and makes for a wonderful addition to any shelf. This is not a book to be bought as a digital version but for book lovers who love the smell and sensations that comes with holding a solid, 3D book in their hands. It certainly is an inspirational, feel-good book. Well done to Mackesy for his artistic creation!

Davvero un libro carinissimo da possedere o da regalare. Una storia per bambini ma consiglierei la lettura anche a un pubblico adulto. Io ho visto questo libro in un negozietto ad Amsterdam e mi sono innamorata, l’ho poi acquistato qui in lingua inglese. Lo ricomprerò sicuramente per regalarlo. Bellissima anche la copertina, stupende le illustrazioni.

Animasyonunu izleyip yaşam sevinciyle dolmuştuk. İnsana her şeye rağmen hayata sarılmayı ve sevmeyi öğreten çok sevimli bir hikaye. Animasyonun kitabından ziyade orijinal kitabı almayı tercih ettim ve tercihimden dolayı mutluyum.

It is a very lovely, very quick read. Common sense in a world no longer using it. Spend the 5 or 10 minutes to read it.
