Love this series.
After getting emails that our boys emails were always forgetting to bring things to school, I downloaded Smart but Scattered and this popped up as a recommendation. I sent it to both my sons' Kindles and have received praise from our 4th and 6th grade teachers that they have seen a remarkable improvement. I offered to read and discuss it with both of them and they both declined and they just became organized on their own. I think younger kids will need more help and guidance.

Good read, but it’s not easy getting your child to read it.
There were some good suggestions that we put in effect. However, my child had no interest in getting organized. She was happy messy. I had to MAKE her read the book aloud with me. Not the best, but it worked.

Funny and Helpful
I thought this was a funny way to approach the mayhem of middle school. My son is just adjusting this year to being in a new school building with more teachers, a locker, etc. I thought it was very well done and approached what could be a stressful task (trying to help kids get organized without 'getting in the way') into a shared, humorous experience.

Great Organizing Tips for (pre) Teens
This book put very useful and pertinent organizing ideas into perspective for my new middle school student. It explained in very simple terms the need for being organized and how it can impact other areas, positively & negatively, based on how well the tips are implemented. Since it didn't come fro MOM, my student is more apt to use the "advice"!

This has helped me.
It is a good book I would recommend it to go to local stores like Kroger and Myer so so more people can buy it. Over than that I don't recommend it to a y one else. Once again a good helpful book.

Son actually picked it up & read it for a good 45 minutes when I gave it to him (12 yrs old)
Son was able to say "hey- I already do that!" and also got real quiet to read other parts that I think may have been a good suggestion for him.Seems like a good book where kids can skim & pick out what interests them - not a heavy read that takes the concentration that most ADHD don't have...Lol.
