Smart Plug eLinkSmart 16A WiFi Outlet
Pack of 4 WiFi plugs, fairly easy to set up, download an app smart life, or use Alexa. Give the plug a name (you don’t have to) and away you go. Works really well and I’m pleased with the purchase.

Great product easy to setup and works a treat
Bought a plug in socket and an online switch version of these devices. Both worked straight away and were easy to set up. Screw terminals on the online switch were a bit fiddly but nothing any decent diy'er can't handle. I've even been able to reset the devices and reconfigure for a different wireless network when i got a second router just to run all the devices I've got running through alexa.Only disappointment is the lack of the energy usage / monitoring mentioned in the amazon listing. Its not a deal breaker, but if you're gonna advertise a specific feature at least make sure it's going to work! Will probably be buying more to expand my automation project of our home.

Small design flaw
Firstly, I don’t tend to submit product reviews a week or two after purchase, preferring to wait and see how they work out regarding reliability, quality, usage, Etc. So this review doesn’t address long term reliability. Also, I’m making a direct comparison to a set of four smart sockets that I previously purchased by Teckin.Pros:Firstly, build quality. They do feel sufficient and nicely made, though, the Teckin plugs do feel slightly better quality and definitely better packaged. They are easier enough to link to the network and Alexa and perform fine.Cons:This is why I’ve held a star back. If, as like most socket faceplates yours have a rocker switch for the outlet, these smart sockets clash with it, riding up and therefore do not sit flush. This is a possible risk if you have small children as they could get a finger under it and partially extract the plug and reach the bare power posts. Also, you could find that the clash with the rocker prevents you operating it properly, my Teckin plugs have a cut out to prevent clashing. I hope this review is helpful

Simple and easy way to remote control devices
At long last, we have sunk our teeth into the world of Alexa. Didn't think we had a real need, we are definitely convinced now.We have been using a few power sockets around the house and from a mix of brands. As always there are some differences some for the better and some for the worse. The elkinksmart socket we have works even better than the more pricey TP-Link Kasa's we have, due to whenever our router is power-cycled, scheduled to occur every few days, the Kasa sockets need to be manually resynced and power cycled themselves to reconnect to the wifi network which is a nuisance when installed in hard to reach locations. However, with the elinksmart it's not the case as they automatically reconnect each time without any problems. I know its not a router thing as the Kasa sockets have been tried elsewhere to be sure.Pairing via the associated app is simple enough and completed within seconds. Receiving commands from Alexa has been without any issues at all so all good here also. The uses are endless, of course the device being plugged to the smartsocket does need to be able to have no further user interaction for it to power on from off, we use this on the electric blanket and mood lighting. Alexa make the bedroom cosy! loving those words at the moment come bedtime and the bed is warm. Will I buy more of these, going by current reliability, yes!

Works like a charm with google home.
I don't understand the negative reviews on this. To pair them just install the app Smart Life, plug them into the electrical outlet, press and hold the turn on button for ~5 seconds to enter pairing mode (blinking) at which point you click "+" sign at the top of the screen and allow whatever permissions the app needs in order to find them. They will show up quickly on the list just click next, add wifi password (first time round only) and of you go. To pair it with alexa/google home click on "Me" tab and click the relevant icon.Pro-tip: make sure you are connected to the same wifi that you want to set up in the plug, and make sure it is the 2.4Ghz one.

Trip mains fuse even with no load
I have several smart plugs all working fine, bought these to expand automation into the office, unfortunately these particular smart plugs pop the mains breaker on switch on even without a load.
