great boot post forefoot surgery
The boot has been a great support during my recovery from forefoot surgery helping me avoid accidental weight-bearing and providing stability. It fits well with the dressing and offers the sturdiness you need for protection. The heaviness can be a challenge, especially over time, but it's likely a trade-off for the extra support it provides. Not recommended for prolonged war exceeding two weeks I would think. The difference in height to the healthy foot due to the relatively high sole puts a lot of strain on hips and pelvis.

Perfect fit
My grandma went into surgery and this product helped her a lot to walk around and continue her everyday routine. Worked really well and she said that it doesn't bother her that much and feels comfortable. So highly recommend.

Still Junkā¦
I bought this wedge shoe as an alternative to Darco, because of how fast they fall apart, but to my chagrin, these are made by Darco. I have a toe ulcer and I have to buy two pairs of these shoes a month plus peg assist insoles because they are so poorly made.

Perfect for offloading wounds
Bought for my husband to use for offloading his foot due to diabetic foot ulcer. He is 6'8" 300lbs. Boot fit well and easy to put on and take off. Arrived quickly after ordering

Good shoe
Good show but keeps foot hyper flexed and eventually the ankle hurts too much . Good for short term wear. But if a longer day of walking? Hurts too much

6.5 womens - puts weight on metatarsals
This might work for others, but it left me bearing weight on exactly the part of my foot I was trying to alleviate - the ball of my foot (metatarsals). I wear a 6.5 women's shoe for reference.

works great
My nephew had a wound on the bottom of his foot that was not healing. This shoe allowed him to keep the pressure off of the wound and still be able to walk around. It held up very well as he was in it for about six - eight weeks. It was easy for him to put it on. And it was low priced which is great because his insurance did not cover one and I feel it would have taken way longer for his foot to heal without it.

Very tall and difficult to walk in
This surgical shoe is incredibly difficult to walk in. The bottom of the shoe is super thick, thicker than another surgical shoe I have tried. Because of this there is instability while walking in it between the injured foot with the shoe and the foot without. The shoe has an angle to it to help keep weight off the front of the foot. This seems like a great idea in concept, but when trying to walk in the shoe it puts a lot of pressure on the back of your knee. If you're not careful it could be very easy to hyperextend your knee. The straps around the ankle are not long enough, so they do not actually cover the ankle completely, leading to rubbing. Mine was also missing a piece of elastic needed to close it. I think the overall concept of the shoe is good, but the functionality is lacking. Would not recommend.
