Not too shabby for the price
I noticed the 1 star review after ordering my pair, so I quickly checked the package before wrapping it up as a Christmas gift and it's just about everything I need it to be. If you're using the Lite, there will definitely be some trouble like the first person experienced. That'll require more research on whether or not you can connect it and how. However, I just needed replacement Joy-cons and they slipped right onto the pro like I needed them too. They're not as seamless as the originals, but it's no different than buying a knock off Xbox or PlayStation controller. The controller made by the original company will always feel a little better, but it wasn't worth the additional $30 for me. The kid will probably lose a Joy-con again within a year, if I'm being honest.

Doesn’t align to joycon slides
Theyre good joy cons and work well, the only issue is that the joycon slide that attaches at the top doesn’t go on correctly. It slides on but hangs off the side about 2-3 cm. Basically misaligned to the joycon slide. *** note though that they do slide on and function normally still, just misaligned and hangs off the edge.

works in a pinch!
UPDATE: unfortunately the left side has started to drift literally the day after my return window closed :(My regular joycons finally bit the dust and with the repair centers closed these seemed like the best value. They are very light and feel very cheap. they dont snap on to the switch like the regular joycons do but they stay on pretty well. The buttons all work fine and I have not yet had any issues and I have been using them daily for almost a month now. they are a bit more comfortable to hold than the regular controller. I'm not sure if these have amiibo functionality but i get notifications sometimes that they cant read the amiibo even though I'm not using any. Overall I am quite satisfied with these so far and would definitely recommend them if you need an emergency replacement

Failed after less than two weeks of light use
Slow to sync, and the left stick started failing after less than 8 hours of light use, on a non-action game. 1 star because I can't give a 0.

Not too shabby for a third-party controller
It doesn't fit the little grip things that come with the Switch Joy-Cons, alas, and it ONLY charges if you plug it into a micro-USB cable... but so far it isn't drifting, and that makes it better than my regular Joy-Cons which are currently waiting in the Nintendo Service Center's giant pile of inbound repair requests. The D-pad is garbage, just like nearly every 3rd party controller out there with a D-pad, and the resolution on the motion controls are definitely not as good, but hey - they work, they don't feel awful in the hand, the joysticks are actually pretty darn good, they're a decent purchase. Just don't expect something on the same level of quality as first-party controllers.

Do Not Purchase
These are crappy controllers, they pull to the left and one sticks viewing backwards. Spend the money on a better controller these are a rip off!!!!

Up button doesn’t work.
I liked it was $40 as opposed to the $80 from Nintendo, but the “up” button does net work. It just totally doesn’t work, and the “up” is pretty important. Disappointed to a 10 year old who I ordered it for.

Barely used, still stopped working
Purchased April 7, stopped working properly by time window closed to return. As I prime member that’s about 2 months I believe. So yeah. Buy at your own risk.Seeing as Covid happened, there was no visits in that time frame. Hardly used.
