This was the answer to all my needs! I have a newer Mac with only usbc ports and needed too many different adapters to use external devices. This little hub solves all that. Has all the necessary ports to plug in whatever I need. Works on on laptop, iPad & phone!

Great product. Doesn’t work that well with a case.

The adapter I’m reviewing has 2 usb-a ports & 2 usb-c ports (1 is used for charging). So there’s just a couple things I’m not overly impressed by. Everything works & operates normally. Charging devices good, mice work & external hard drives are useable. This adapter partially covers the speakers & isn’t very secure/tight in the iPads usb-c port. No way around the speakers being partially covered. If you take off the rails it doesn’t seem very secure. I’m not saying it’ll just fall out but definitely two handed when unplugging usb devices. My iPad is the 2018 model so it could be my port. Other than that, this adapter is nifty to have around. I have several adapter of different brands. I like “low profile” of this adapter vs the corded ones. Seems robust & durable enough for daily use. The plastic casing seems hollow but still robust. By that I mean I don’t believe this would break immediately from a desk height drop. The color isn’t exactly like the space grey iPads color, but it’s not annoyingly different. I would probably be ok with a variety of colors though. Like a black one would be nice because my case is black. One thing I did notice at night is the blue led light. If you’re looking at this thing straight on it’s not painfully bright. At any other angle it’s piercing, when it’s installed where port names are visible from the front. So I’ll have to dab it with paint or something because it’s a painful sight at night. —Like I have an adapter where the led actually has shaded plastic over it, so it’s always dimmed. Some of these things are a bit picky this is just my opinion. I will say though for portability this thing is small & lightweight. It’s about palm length & thin enough to fit in standard pockets or even tablet sleeves. Overall it works as expected, I mainly use the usb-a & usb-c ports. I tested the HDMI and everything seemed normal (audio/visual). If this is the kind of adapter you’re looking for I’d recommend giving it a try. I’m not saying it’s better than others out there, but that it does function properly. I’d say the slim style & port options are my favorite things about this adapter. --I’m personally looking/waiting for an adapter that features all usb-c ports. Like 3 for data/charging, 1 for power supply and hdmi. The Ethernet port & sd card slots are a plus for my use but not necessary.

I got rid of my MacBook Pro because I rarely travel for work. Took a chance on using an iPad Pro as my travel "laptop." So far so good, but this hub makes it work because I also use a 15" portable monitor with said iPad. Great combination. Easy to use, decent port connectivity, and it seems well-made.

Works well but unplugs easily when trying to disconnect peripherals. MicroSD card sometimes needs to be fished out with a screwdriver because it goes in too far. Some memory cards/drives work when plugged in together and other times they don’t. Often charging is slower during usage and outpaces itself causing 2019 iPad Pro11 256K to shut down until it’s recharged enough to resume usage. Can’t be used with my iPad stand in portrait mode because the hub sticks out too far on some stands. However it does work if flipped over opposite side but just isn’t convenient for my situation plus it looks stupid jutting out from top, even though it’s the bottom of the iPad upside down. HDMI cables too heavy and easily cause hub to fall out of iPad’s USB C charging port jack. On the plus side it works flawlessly with my USB 3.0 hub giving my iPad access to14 gigs of DJ music, karaoke and music videos on 1 regular full size 12v. hard drive that is 6 TB and 2 portable 5v. USB powered 4 TB drives on a USB 3.0/3.1 Black Web 7 port hub! Overall I’m happy with this iPad Pro hub unit I just wish some issues were resolvable.

This product is definitely not worth buying. I bought it not knowing how awful the micro sd reader was for my 12.9 inch iPad Pro. Upon receiving this item I tried using It and the experience goes as follows. Can not use the accessory with a case on, will not plug all the way in. When plugged in without the case the adapter feels flimsy, although it does give you some guides that is supposed to make it stable when plugged in with them on. They do nothing for the adapter. Main reason I bought it was for the micro sd and sd card reader slots. They are pointless as well. My micro sd card got stuck in the slot it was supposed to go in and I had to try and retrieve it, which was a task on its own. Thanks to this adapter my micro sd card is damaged and will not let me format or get rid of the sad error on my go pro that I never had until I tried this adapter. Please save yourself some time and agony, DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!!

I have an ipad pro..this works really well and i think a must have accessory for screen mirroring and using headphone with jack and can also connect usb pendrive….it’s worth every penny.
