These timbells are my chinchilla’s absolute favorite thing ever. The second I put one in his cage, he runs over and starts going to town on it. He loves chewing on them and they keep him busy.

They seemed like a great option for my cavies that love all Oxbow products. I bought 2 packs so all 4 guinea pigs would have one overnight. The next morning, the thin stick in the middle was chewed up leaving me with 8 untouched balls of hay. I left 4 of them for 2 days an not one bite mark on them. I took them out and reintroduced the other 4 balls to see if they'd interested this time. Nope! After 5 days, they haven't even moved them from where I placed them. I am not saying these balls are bad. In fact I think they are a great idea, but give it a try knowing that they might not be your pet's favorite treat.

My piggies enjoyed them. When only one hay ball comes off the stick can be bad to have, kind of sticks in the air. Not good for piggies when they’re running around.

Pets like them

I absolutely love these! They’re a little pricey, but worth every penny. My rabbit is free roam, and this keeps her distracted from chewing up my furniture. I buy two or three at a time because they do go quickly, but I’ve always loved Oxbows products and I’m so glad they came out with their “Enriched Life” series!

My 3 little girl Guinea Pigs just love these barbell looking hay sticks. They grab it and run so the others won't get it, so I bought enough for all 3 of them. It is funny to watch, it's like the best treat they've ever had and I spoil them big time.GUINEA PIGS HAPPY ON MAUI, HI
