Basting Spoon Works Very Well
It doesn't scoop up a lot, but I don't think it's meant to. You just have to keep scooping smaller amounts out when you're serving. Other than that, it's sleek, it's super sturdy (no bending), it's great for stirring food in gravies and liquids, or even moving fried foods, like a stir-fry, around in a frying pan. It also cleans up slick as a whistle. I love the flat edge on front; it's so handy, and much more useful than my older "rounded edge" spoons. I love the whole thing! I'm going to buy a 2nd one.

Perfect and Sturdy
I like a firm spoon for stirring of food during cooking. This one is longer than the other spoons that I have so that makes it perfect for use in large, deep pots of spaghetti sauce. This is a good and basic spoon.

Was looking for something with a smaller bowl
It's a nice spoon, but it's a little larger than I was looking for.Need something for serving smaller serving of potatoes or veggies.

Good value
Bought this because I needed a replacement for my old stand by, which I use when Browning Hamburger. Needed a flat end, sturdy construction, to chop up meat. This works perfectly, as I expected.

Perfect size
Exactly what I was looking for. This spoon has a long and sturdy handle to stir and serve food from my 5 quart pots. I really like the flat end of the spoon so I can scrape the bottom of the pot or serving dish and not miss a bite!I ordered this spoon to replace spoons I have had for at least 20 years and are starting to show their age.I am glad I bought 2 - they will definitely be used a lot !
