This thermometer was my first ever attempt at being a bit more scientific with my cooking. It was very easy to use out of the box with all the necessary instructions and tools to make it work. I usually like cooking with larger cuts of meats so this really helps with getting the internal temperatures right! It also has a good size so it's easy to store. It's given me the confidence to improve my cooking ability and is easy to read even inside the oven.The only thing I would say is that the temperature tends to move quite a bit when it's already inserted into the meat. Sometimes it's painful since the temperature varies by 5-10F when it's inserted and not moving and you have to wait for it to get to a stable reading before you can say you're done. I think though for a 16 dollar item, it yields a high value for money. Would recommend for the price for sure!

Excellent thermometer. Easy to use with almost instant readout of temperature. The LED readout are clearly visible even in dark environments. Lightweight and has magnetic attachment. The foldable design is great and easy to store or keep attached on a steel surface. The heat chart is very helpful. Very happy with the purchase.

Fourth one I've purchased for various reasons...all still working. Find it accurate and if good quality. I've spent $100 on one before and it is super nice....but this gets the job done and will last.

Good thermometer. My first digital one. It's fairly accurate. Haven't had to calibrate it yet. About the size of a dinner plate. Probe is very sharp and I have had not issues inserting it into meat. Love the orange. Back light is bright and numbers are easy to read. It has a lock for the reading but haven't had to use it. I've dropped it a couple times and it very durable and hasn't effected it. It's light weight and can be hung off for grill or it does have a magnet that is fairly strong and I haven't attached to my fridge or on my smoker when not in use.

It was able to tell me the temperature of my meat. Seams to work well. Its not instant but certainly identifies the temperature within seconds. Its small, lightweight and feels better built than some prior thermometers we've had. We use when grilling, cooking on the stove or checking things in the oven and no complaints after a few months of usage. Its bright and easy to read. Its been under water a few times... and its still working. I would buy this again.
