The product was easy to install and easy to understand, it helps save a lot of energy because it doesn't need a physical key to unlock it, instead it uses a number pattern of your choice, you can download an app to lock or unlock the door (because it is Bluetooth), it's also very durable, it helps save time in case you forget your door password because the box comes with 5 keycards for your families to come or for your family to use.

It was easy to setup. Looks like it is working well. It is probably a good deal for a cheap product. Some bad sides that I discovered after installing the system: the item cannot work over WiFi, only on Bluetooth. So one has no remote access to the door when you’re not at home. Also, it has no camera. The pictures you see in the ad are uploaded pictures, so don’t get the impression that the system will let you view live pictures.

It took my husband a long time to install this ZKTeco Keyless Door Lock because the instructions weren’t clear in many places. I actually had tried and gave up on step one. Some of the screws were labeled and some weren’t, the drill bit needed is not the 25/64ths listed, and several of the steps weren’t clear or jumped all around. Now that it’s in I like it though – I put it on my craft room door to keep my preschooler out (so many things that could hurt him or break). It was easy to change the direction of the handle (done after installation) and I lucked into turning off the REALLY loud beeps it makes when you enter a code (there are instructions for it). I love the key fobs that you just swipe in front of it for access, but we’re keeping those locked up because it’s too easy for the kid to get once he knows they exist. Entering a code is very easy, although there seems to be a one-second or so delay for the screen to light up once you touch it. The touch screen is sensitive enough that you don’t have to press hard for the numbers to register, and each subtly blinks when you touch it. I have not tried the app yet, as I haven’t needed it. Four stars because the directions are awful but everything else is great.

With the quick start guide to get started, I had no problem adding the admin and a few users. It also worked with our existing keyfobs! Install is a little involved. I hope they stand behind this product like the others!

I've installed quite a number of electronic locks over the years. I can't say as I was ultimately all that impressed with this product though. While it has a lot of bell-and-whistle type features the lock itself is a bit flimsy for my taste and the lack of documentation does concern me quite a bit. Honestly, I feel safer going with an established brand that I know is going to be around 20+ years from now as opposed to who has the flashiest product with the most bleeding edge technology.As I said, the documentation and instructions leave a lot to be desired and even after having installed dozens of electronic locks in the past I was really scratching my head at times trying to figure out what they were talking about. A lot of it reads like it was not originally written in English and was poorly translated. Oh, well. You win some, you lose some.
