They are smooth and good for sampling lotions

Solid and Sturdy
I use these sticks to create a nice-looking name labels for some of the displays I make. They can be drilled through using a Dremel tool, but be careful when trying to attach them to a piece of wood directly, without a pilot hole --they may crack. (Ask me how I know.) However, by drilling that pilot pilot hole through them first, the tiny craft wood screw can be applied without cracking the wood. Oh, and they stain nice, too. I use Early American stain.
