WOW. I will preface with I am an ADHD adult (yes actually not Dr Google diagnosed) and drinking coffee has always made me depressed, sluggish, and honestly more tired. That was until I found the Four Sigmatic Lions Mane coffee!!!I had been downing energy drinks like they were my only lifeline and I knew how bad they were for me but they were the only things that seemed to help get through the days (I’m a SAHM to 3 under 5 so sleep? Who is she?)I didn’t know I needed this until an ad popped up and I figured it was a gimmick but I would have given almost anything to enjoy coffee again so I figured I’d try a bad. Cue me ordering four more bags and trying different “flavors.”I figured it was placebo effect taking over when my mood shifted dramatically from Debbie downer to functional fran. But then I ran out and two days without it I fell right back into my slug, inability to focus, irritated life.Now am I saying this is a cure all? Absolutely not. But I KNOW this coffee does something. The taste seems to be mellow enough to drink black but bold enough to balance with some cream too (how I enjoy mine with heavy cream and butter!) One bag lasted me about a full month of twice daily brews and compared to me spending $6 per day on energy drinks to $20 for a bag of coffee that isn’t actively poisoning me, I’ll take the coffee! I’ve never had coffee make me feel the way this does.I just ordered the Balance and the last of us also to give those a try.I can’t wait to have a little coffee area now that I know I CAN enjoy coffee and easy mornings and happy days!

I'm fussy when it comes to coffee and I like this. The flavor is pretty standard but not bitter as long as you follow the instructions on the package. It seems strange that servings are for a 6oz cup instead of 8oz but it comes out good every time. I have a coffee maker that can be set at 6oz so it works great. Doesn't taste like mushrooms, which I don't mind either way cause I like the flavor of them. This is a good coffee for the price with the added benefits. I don't need to run to the bathroom to unload before my first cup is done like I do with most coffees and my bowels are more normal drinking this, similar to the results of Ryze mushroom coffee. There's also no acidic side effects which is great. Highly recommend!

For that, I’m truly grateful—it opened the door to a whole new chapter in my wellness journey.The ground coffee blend still has that rich, bold flavor I enjoy for the occasional cup. But as the mushroom coffee space has evolved and grown, many newer brands have stepped up with stronger formulations and higher potency. Meanwhile, Four Sigmatic hasn’t really kept pace when it comes to potency or innovation.My biggest concern is the lack of transparency around mushroom dosage per serving. Without that information, it’s hard to gauge how much benefit you’re really getting—it’s likely just trace amounts, which makes it more of a functional upgrade from regular coffee rather than a true supplement.This year, I’ve experimented with brands like Lucid Super Coffee, Ryze, and Everyday Dose. I ultimately stuck with Lucid—it offers a potent dose and clearly states what you’re getting in every scoop.Four Sigmatic still has a nostalgic spot in my cabinet, but these days it’s more for the taste than the therapeutic effect. If you’re serious about functional mushrooms, make sure to read the label. Dosage transparency really does make a difference.

I have pretty severe GI issues, and a lot of coffees can really upset my stomach. I recently found out of have Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, and I don't get enough nutrients because it's hard to eat some days, so most days I just have coffee until 6 pm. Not only am I getting pre and probiotics with this coffee, the mushroom additives seem to be helping, also. I gave this teo plus weeks, and I haven't had coffee guts, no jitters or crashing. Let alone, it's a very smooth and really good tasting coffee. I'm pretty boujee about my coffee, and like a quality medium dark roast, which is EXACTLY what this is. I will be buying this, and trying other items like the elixir, instant coffee (i want to see if I can make Dalgona coffee with it!) and the decaf coffee and chai.

We have bought probably 20+ bags of this coffee! We wanted something that was organic but ground. We love the addition of the functional mushrooms. The first cup you could tell how much easier it was on our stomachs! Gave us consistent energy through the day with no crash. And my favorite is everybody that has a cup of coffee at our house is always obsessed and wanting to know how to get it!! We now have a permanent spot in our pantry to store bags and get a few when they go on sale

I feel I need to review this product more than any product I've purchased in years. For years I drank standard coffee(Folgers, Hills bros, etc.). In January I switched to this coffee and it changed my life. I would get gut aches every afternoon for years from regular coffee(I only drink about 16oz a day in the morning). Since changing to Four Sigmatic I have not experienced a single stomach ache in the past 6 months. Thank you Four Sigmatic, I promote your product to everyone I cross paths with. In addition it taste great like a high end coffee shop.
