installation is ok issue that the design of this mac model is that the speakers are behind literally everything so you have to unscrew the mother board etc etc someone going in to this first time will probably have to watch a YouTube video - i recommend you buy thermal paste as you will probably be taking off the heat sink so you have the chance to put new thermal paste on your CPU GPU whilst chasing the speakers out as wellquality of sound defiantly the bass is higher than the original and it sort of interferes with the crisp clarity that the originals kind of had because of the even levels of bass mid treble ETC ETC but to me they seem louder and its better for listening to music not huge difference between quality and i think its due to the design of this speaker i noticed that on the back where the bass tweeter the design is isolated by a sheet of plastic rather then the original where the plastic is slotted inside and has space between the housing of the speaker anyway good quality does not brake the bank could a bit cheaper but you get nice tools with it that actually didn't wear out on me when doing the change but just FYI i had another glance today on amazon and found someone selling the speaker for 15 pounds with out tools i believe that are more true to the original design never the less good product.

bought this after my macbook model A1502 original loudspeaker broke down and started making a rattling sound. Fit in perfectly and the tools supplied with the kit were the correct ones for the job. replcement done following a tutorial on youtube. The volume seems to be a little lower but not an issue at all. Very happy to have my macbook back with just 15 minutes of work.

The sound quality is now rather ‘tinny’ but good for the price and my laptop is now useable for YouTube again.

Sound works perfectly, has saved me from replacing entire MacBook

Both speakers of my MacBook Pro have been damaged for a few years, I usually will use headphones to hear anything. Am not sure what lead me here, but for less than £15, I replaced but speakers, now I can listen to music and audio via my laptop. Replacing this gave me the courage to order a replacement battery.

Obviously an improvement on the failed speakers but nowhere near as clear a sound as the original Apple ones. Yes, they work and are worth the money, but the audio performance isn't great.

Working well, hits 81dbs loudness. Its almost as equally loud as the Mac's default one. Not sure about the details compared to original. But by itself, its pretty impressive.

Install is a mission so disappointed to find that the right speaker is faulty (glitches) and the left one is obviously lesser quality than the originals. What a nightmare having to take them back out to replace with the originals again. Quality is poor. Save the money and buy others instead!
