Tips and Tricks in bringing out changes...Chip and Dan nailed it...
This is one a greatest books on how to bring about a change be it personally or in any organization. Chip and Dan clarifies lots of doubts and questions that would linger in one's mind when thinking about making changes and continue for lasting benefits. The authors explains with clear examples the below questions that we often think otherwise,What looks like people problem is often a situation problem. What looks like laziness is often exhaustion. What looks like a resistance is often lack of clarity.Rider, Elephant and Shaping the Path are great concepts in enabling a change in one's life or in any enterprises. Some of the real world scenarios illustrated by the authors helps the readers understand the theory behind the concepts.Overall this is a re-read category, where I could pull this off my shelf and read it one more time.

wONDERful
This book is easy to digest. Lots of great real life examples. And a little dose of humor didn't hurt. Thanks! The book is structured into three sections, each one suggesting specific behaviors you can follow:I. Direct the Rider:- Find the bright spots- Script the critical moves- Point to the destinationII. Motivate the Elephant:- Find the feeling- Shrink the Change;- Grow your peopleIII. Shape the Path:- Tweak the environment- Build habits- Rally the herdLoved the variety and breadth of real life examples. Many of the techniques are immediately applicable in your own situation. I also found the resource at the end of the book (a recap of the techniques) to be very helpful and a useful summary.

Make it your companion and your life will change.
I downloaded this book a while ago from the internet without paying a rupee. Yes it was a pirated pdf uploaded by someone. I read the complete book on my phone but the reading was spread over so many days that I forgot the back portions as I moved forward. Even after reading this book in my phone without any cost I purchased a copy because I can't stand myself reading a pirated version of the book and not paying a dime to the authors of such a fantastic book. I also own a kindle but still I will never stop buying physical copies of books because digital experience is inferior as compared to reading a book held in your very own handsSwitch is a book which teaches us a lot of things. It tells us about human psychology, group psychology, psychology of society and identifies those simple things which we never take the time to think about. Switch talks about changes at personal, institutional as well as even at national levels. Switch gives your mind those wings which you can use to either change your small habits or even change the world. Switch is a very very effective book that opens your eyes as to how much you really can achieve by being just a little modest. The language used is very simple, the way of writing is very pleasant, the book is filled with real life examples and experiments all the way to the end. Switch definitely needs to be in your library if you are enthusiastic about changing something in yourself, if you would like to understand why people often do what they do, and if you would like to know how a great business thrives and becomes breathtakingly large.Go without food for one day and save that money if you have to but read Switch.I bought it for 300 rs and ya I too sacrificed something!

Brilliant read. I bought a few copies for people I thought should read this book
Switch talks about transformation. The need for change, and how we can achieve the change the things we want to. Both at a personal level, and at the level of the organisation I work for. The book resonated with some of the issues we have as an organisation. Switch has a lot of examples and cases that can help make changes that would otherwise have been difficult to achieve.

Not to be missed book
This is easily one of the better books I have read in a long time. So much so that I ordered 2 for a few people who will benefit from reading this wonderful book. Filled with real-life examples and across all sections of society, the book illustrates that a small change creates a big impact. It is possibly a book that I will keep close with me and read again.

crisp , concise and to the point
This book reflects real life scenarios and how people dealt with them to bring . The book serves the purpose of providing pragmatic /real life solutions to and also teaches to implement the switch in your life. At the end of every chapter is an exercise which asks you what would you do in such case . That is very interesting . I also like the fact that they have summaries the book in the last 5 pages for us so hat we dont have to make notes. Some lines in the book also serve as motivating and i am used to underlining them . For example - our brain and potential is every growing .tel

Please read this book
Switch is probably one of the best self help books that I've read with the most practical examples. I've been using it's strategies of change on myself and have seen massive improvement in my own approaches. I regret not reading this book earlier.
