Crayola Drawing Chalk 24ct

I work the front desk at a small hotel, and I was given free rein with the hotel chalkboard to write out the weather and do a daily drawing. I purchased this chalk for that, and for the most part its worked wonderfully. A few of the colors, specifically the light blue and white, don't cover well. They're too pale and the black shows through. But other than that, they've all worked wonderfully. The range of colors is fantastic, and I'm able to have a lot of variation in my drawings. A few sticks arrived broken, but its chalk. What can you do.

I got this for my third grader to use for his learning from home art class. A few of the pieces were broken, but I expected that to happen during shipping. It has bright colors and went onto the drawing pad paper quite smoothly. He didn't break any when he pressed harder than he should have onto the paper. I don't know if they are artist quality, but it works well for the school assignments.

This soft chalk looks brilliant on chalkboard painted walls. I agree with all of the reviews about the broken chalk. It is fragile. I would prefer that it wasn’t but it is all useable and the color difference is worth it to me.

A little on the soft side, but was smooth and vibrant all the way through. No hard compacted chalk chunks. It is soft, so everything will be chalky and it will wear down fast.

Beautiful, bold colors! Okay for outlining and accents on the sidewalk. They do break easily, but concrete is hard so...I'm not sure I can fault them.

I use these on my kitchen chalk board for doodling around my to do list. Its fun, the colors are vibrant. Only thing is they break easily. But thats normal, just hold them closer to the tip.

I purchased this product with the intention of using it to chalk on paper (I recommend using black paper, since it makes the colors especially striking). The color selection, though perhaps not entirely necessary, is absolutely amazing. Also, it seems that this pack will last me quite a while; I covered a 22x28in (approx. 56x71cm) sheet of poster board and I still have plenty left. The pricing is great (though it's always frustrating when shipping is as expensive as the product) and only one piece of chalk snapped in half during the shipping process. The broken chalk definitely wasn't a big deal to me, since I break chalk while drawing (sometimes purposefully, to get sharp edges) anyway.

I bought this product to be able to write / draw on a chalk wall in our crafts room. Most of the chalk sticks were broken when I opened the package, and the ones that weren’t broke in my hands trying to remove them. I should mention I live in a cold climate, and I do not know if that affects how fragile they are. Despite this, the pigment is extremely good. If you’re looking for a cheap pigmented chalk and you don’t care about the durability, this is definitely the product for you. The last picture is a comparison of the red that comes in this pack (top) and craZart’s supposed “red” (bottom). Noticeable difference. They also glide across their surface relatively easy, while my other chalk often snags on small holes and breaks. It did shed pigment onto my hands, however. I’d recommend supervision if you intend for a child to use this chalk, otherwise a mess will ensue.

No problems & they smell really good, I recommend sniffing them every 2 minutes.

Beautiful colours and works well on the blackboard. Erase with a damp soft cloth. TOO BAD THAT 2 COLOURS WERE BROKEN IN HALF.

Amazingly vivid colours and so much easier to carry compared to those big/thick chalks. Wish Crayola produced more colours of this size... Cannot comment on easy to clean as i used it for street art, not on a black board ;)
