No spill or leakage but if it's fall down, it's spilled but no breakage. Very easy to clean. Dishwasher safe. I bought the one with cup holder also, I like that one more than this one and it's easier for the kid to hold the cup as well. Easy for the kid to transition from this sippy cup to open cups too. If you wanted to use just at home, no carry outside, don't have to buy a cup with lid. Without lid will work. On the other hand if want to carry it out, lid is required. A little tips : In the beginning kid will not know how they could drink, water not comes to their mouth and can get a little upset, so we have to put on a little acting drinking from that cup to show them. After sometimes they will understand how to operate it.

This is for toddlers to learn how to slip from a glass. It's really a good quality product. Easy to use and easy to wash with our regular dishwashing liquid. The lid is leak proof and the cover on the sipper is silicon rest product is made from good quality plastic. I am ok with the colour because it's attractive for the baby. Must recommended.

In beginning it was difficult for my 1.5 year old daughter to drink water from this munchkin cup, but it took 1 week to train her. Yes it's spill proof as it claims.
