the Next EXIT 2020

This book is invaluable and a must for glampers.
This book is simply amazing and a must have for anyone with a larger trailer or RV. The book provides you with a list of gas, food, lodging, shopping, and other services available at each Interstate exit. It’s simple… you open the book to the state you are currently in, argue with your loved one about what Interstate you are on, miss several signs indicating what Interstate you are on because you are arguing, stop arguing long enough to see a sign, apologize to your loved one that they were right all along, and then use the latest mile marker to determine what the next exit will be and what amenities it has. It identifies the RV-friendly gas stations that have room to maneuver or even have dedicated pumps. When you do not know where you are it provides you with piece of mind that you are not going to run out of gas in the middle of nowhere.

DON'T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT. Everything you need to know when traveling down the interstate.
I bought my first copy 2 years ago after buying my RV. Thought it might be helpful. Boy, was I right! This is the most used item in my truck other than my rear view camera & mirrors. My wife rides with it on her lap. This gem can tell you just how far to the next rest area. What gas stations are at the next exit. Do they have restaurants associated with them and which brands. Are they RV friendly. (By that, I mean can you get a truck and travel trailer or 5th wheel or a 40 Ft motor home in and out of their fuel pumps. Some actually have special RV pumps back with the truck pumps.)No matter if we are towing our trailer or just traveling in the car, if we are on the interstate system this book is with us. We don't leave home without it.

What's up ahead???
This is the best little book when traveling interstates. It gives you a snapshot of everything available at the exits on the interstates. I especially LOVE that it has the facilities associated with RVs printed in RED which makes it so easy and quick to plan your next stop. I even purchased one for my sister and BIL who travel a lot via their car/truck. Great find!! Would recommend this to any RVer and anyone else who drives the interstates in the USA.

VERY Handy Book!
I am so glad I bought this book before Covid shut down a zillion bathrooms across the USA! While we traveled almost no where in 2020, we did take one short trip and found this book to be key for locating Rest Stops with open bathrooms! I love that you can quickly find what is at each interstate exit! I found it much easier than searching with my iPhone or Garmin. My techie daughter, who sticks up her nose at using printed versions of anything, fell in love with this book because of the ease of locating restaurants in unfamiliar states. Well worth the money...

Not all US highways in here.
Bought this book not understanding that the Interstate Highway System leaves out a large population of US highways that go through multiple states, and I was hoping to use it for Driving down the west coast on Highway 101. So while comprehensive and in a very easy to read format, it doesn’t specifically call out anywhere in the description (that I saw) this nuance between the US Highway System and US Interstate System. Otherwise, looks like a great guide for those included in the US Interstate Highways only.

Buy this one. It's very helpful.
This book is a great companion to take on a trip. It lists by mile markers gas stations and rest areas as well as places to spend the night and restaurants, be they fast food or sit down. I would have gladly given it 5 stars, but as others have mentioned, the pages are like the old time phone books and very fragile. Overall, however I am glad I bought it and it has served me very well, indeed.

Don't buy this. It's worthless.
I wish I could rate this with negative stars. I was going to return it, but was too busy moving at the time and didn't get the chance. I've been using guides similar to this for 30 years, since I had a job with full time travel on the nation's highways. I need to know what is at the exits ahead, whether they have truck parking and whether I can get diesel or food, etc. The trouble with this guide is that it is organized by state instead of by highway number. So, let's say I'm driving from California to Florida on Highway 10. When I get to Arizona, I have to stop and try to find I-10 in Arizona to continue following the guide. I certainly can't do that by driving. With the older guides I have, I could just follow I-10 (or I-40, 70, 80, or 90, whatever) all the way across the country just turning from one page to the next. This one is totally useless for someone who is driving. It might be nice for someone who is sitting at home drinking a glass of wine and listening to Boxcar Willing sing "On the Road Again." But not for someone who is actually on the road again. Give me a break. Don't waste your money. I even paid extra to get the spiral bound version because it is easier to turn the pages while driving, but this one even has very thin paper that will probably tear if you try to do that. My commercial driver's road atlas has laminated pages and is spiral bound. It doesn't tear.

Accurate
This comes in very handy when I travel to the lower 48 from here in Alaska. I can plan ahead as to where I want to jump off the Highway to stop.

Great resource.
If you travel the Interstate road system this book is a great helper. This is probably our 6 or 7th edition as we have bought them for years. If though we have smart technology and apps this book is also nice to have and is extensive in scope.
