UPDATE ON CUSTOMER SERVICE:I updated this from a single star to a 5 star. As you can see from my previous post, I had some issues with this and I was working with Luggage America customer service. Customer Service has taken care of the issue and I am now very happy with the resolution.Purchased this luggage in May 2015 as I was traveling about once a month via Air. Arrived as expected and case was very sturdy, wheels seem strong but handle seemed a little flimsy. During my fourth trip (September - 4 months in), the top of the handle was loose. I checked and saw that a screw had backed out so I proceeded to put it back in. It would not finger tighten so I borrowed a screwdriver form a shoe-shine guy and try to screw it in. It would not tighten at all so I managed to hold the screw in with my finger until I got home. I then tried again to repair but it would not and I realized that the cheap aluminum was stripped. I contacted Luggage America about this as it has a what appears to be a multiple year warranty. First of all they require you to have kept all of the papers that were attached to your suitcase originally - thankfully I had mine. I then took pictures, filled out all the paperwork and sent it in. They then informed me that I have to pay $9.50 to have the handle replaced and it may take up to 6 weeks for the handle to arrive. I had spent too much time to back out now so I paid the fee and waited. After about a month, I get a package and proceed to replace the handle. I notice very quickly the handle is not the same although it is similar. After removing the old handle, I find that the new handle will not fit correctly. I tried several times and even replaced the old handle a few times just to make sure I am doing this correctly and could not get it to work. I am now reaching back out to Luggage America to see what we can do to rectify this. Unfortunately I don't have a lot of hope that they will be able to rectify this but I will update this post if they do.....

we ordered this 21" carry on as well as the 25 in piece in the same line. We had seen these in a local store and checked them out pretty well. I was concerned about some of the negative reviews for these relating to broken wheels etc. Ours arrived in perfect shape. We tested everything to make sure all the zippers worked, the wheels were intact and worked properly, and the pull out handle functioned properly. We haven't had an opportunity to actually use them so can't speak as to how they hold up or hold up with airline handling. I like the idea of the water bottle pocket on the side of the carry on, and I really like the expandable feature on both pieces which looks to be about 1-1/2" I would like to see a helper handle on the bottom for getting it in and out of the car trunk.

This suitcase is awesome. I flew out to San Antonio on a business trip and was able to carry this on the airplane! It fits perfectly in the overhead compartment. I packed for a 5 day stay and still had some spare room. It rolls so easy from a tilt or straight up. I don't think you will be disappointed in this one!

It looks great, feels great, packs great...but I travel a lot. And it lasted me only three months before the handle broke and could no longer be closed all the way. It's fine if you only need it a couple of times a year. But if you fly more than six times in a year, you're better off getting something that you won't have to replace as frequently.

Had this for suitcase for two years and it's now broken. Was a good little suitcase and we are sad to toss it but the handle on top won't collapse anymore.

This luggage is roomy enough to fit a weeks worth of clothes to Hawaii for a family of 3 since we do need to pack a lot. However, it gets bulky when filled and it is a hassle to fit on overhead bins. I ended up checking this twice (different trips). The spinner is easy to maneuver and is fairly light weight. It did show some wear on my first trip and i do not expect this to hold up for many years. It is a bit pricey for what you get. I recommend buying another luggage (may cost more upfront) with lifetime warranty.

This is the best carry on! I use it quite frequently for weekend get-always and always when I fly. It has plenty of space and a nice deep pocket on the exterior. So far, it’s held up really well and I appreciate the smooth rolling wheels.

Received it today and I can say that I'm very please with the quality of the bag! So far it glides very easily, it's very lightweight, many compartments, good size, and the zippers are smooth!*** I will update this review after I use it.
