It keeps me fresh all day without irritation, even when life gets hectic. And knowing I’m no longer putting aluminum or allergy-triggering ingredients on my skin? Finally a deodorant that works and does not irritate my skin or annoy my glands. No irritating baking soda. No irritating magnesium hydroxide. It glides on smooth. One swipe keeps me odor free all day. No streaks. No noticeable scent, although when I smell my shirt after removing, the arm pit area has a mild clean fresh scent to it which is fine. It rates a low toxic number 1 out of 0 to 10 on the EWG cosmetic safety database. I hope they never change the formula and don't raise the price. It is perfect the way it is. I got tired of all the expensive over priced terrible deodorants I have been through (at least two dozen). I love this one and hope to use it forever.

Best natural deodorant I've found.

I've tried many clean deoderants and the NOW brand actually works for me and doesn't irritate my skin. I also like the lavendar scent when available as it's pretty subtle but unscented is my preferred.

I was hopeful with the high number of positive reviews. The ingredients seem good, which is why I bought it, but the actual performance of the product is severely lacking. It's got zinc oxide, which made me feel like I was spreading thick, dry-ish Desitin on my pits. Speaking of the texture, you can't just stick this bar on your skin and expect it to glide like other deodorants. My easiest solution to getting the deodorant on my skin easily was to use the back of my nail and scrape it gently across the surface to get a small amount (say, the size of a lentil), then rub it into my skin with circular motions. At that point, why keep it in bar form at all? They might as well save packaging and cut out moving parts by just putting it in a jar.When I took a shower and put this on right after, I smelled okay for about 2-3 hours. After that point, the smell got progressively worse, so I thought I'd just put some more on. But you can't just reapply more of the product. It had a kind of tacky sensation afterward that you'd have to scrub off with soap and water and a washcloth. Reapplying after this kind of mid-day spot treatment led to worse results. The smell was like a cross between regular body odor and a skunk. Even my husband noticed how bad it was, and he's not very smell-sensitive. So I thought, it was only my second day using the deodorant, maybe it would get better later on if I used it more. No. It got worse every day as I tried to stick with it. I just can't keep doing this. My husband has asked me to throw out the whole thing.It has pretty good ingredients, comparatively, and it seems like a lot of people are happy with it. It didn't work out for me. Better luck next time!

I need everyone to get into this so they never stop making it. I have tried lots of different aluminum free deodorants, and this is the only brand that keeps me from being smelly all day. I used to get the lavender scent (which also works just as well) until I found unscented. Love!
