Knife Nerd Feedback from California
If this was priced at $80 I'd give it 4 stars. But it is better than most knives, even USA knives, on Blade HQ or Amazon... And it's cheap in comparison. But very good for $30. Feels similar in quality to Ontario Rat, and is about same cost. The claim is that the steel is D2. If it is D2 steel, and if the ball-bearings hold up for a few thousand flips, it would go for $80+ if Eafengrow was a USA Company. It's similar to many medium/high-end CRKT.Quality upon opening seems very high. Time will tell.Likes & Pros:- Durability : This G10 & steel liner combo, with independent backspacer to solidify the design, feels very sturdy & strong when closed or open. The only part to be careful with is the very tip of the blade... It's almost needlepoint. If you use this knife to prep food, attempt to clean an animal, or even use defensively against another human, i don't see the tip breaking. You could use this to fight off an attacker, it won't break under those circumstances. If you pry a can open or something, or drop it on cement, I'm 90% sure it'll break. If you want something for heavy work, the most durable, and it can't be fixed, get a Cold Steel 4 Max or a Medford.- Appearance : Very beautiful presentation by Eafengrow, literally perfect. No scuffs or inconsistencies on the outside of the knife. Satin coated or appears to be. The G10 looks good, the blade looks good, good hardware.Value: I'm a knife nerd. This value is extremely high. It feels stronger & better made than many entry knives like some Gerber options, Smith & Wesson knives, and some of the low/medium end SOG knives. Very impressive for Chinese stuff. Thumbs up man.Areas for Improvement:- Liner lock could sit slightly closer to the middle of the blade tang when open. This will inevitably improve with time, or i'll bend it inward about 1-5°. To be fair this is very common with liner locks and is very nitpicky.- If there is a washer on one side, and ball bearings on the other, i feel like the washer should be bronze instead of plastic. Add 75 cents to cost and upgrade that (if it makes sense. Maybe I'm wrong though.)

Poor finish on the pocket clip
Knife is very sharp I really like this blade shape. The only problem is with the pocket clip. It appears that the finish is pealing or is in someway flawed. Other than what I would assume to be a rare fault it is a great knife.

carried daily
Loved the look and I am a on and off again knife junky. Lots of different knives in the past for some military and civilian edc. Don’t think the type of blade still would have kept up with me on duty, but as a civilian 🤮 it is amazing. One of the sharpest knives from the factory I have gotten and about the same as my real KA-BAR. flipping mech doesn’t have enough spring tension to ensure 100% deployments without wrist flick.Have not had to sharpen since purchase last year and that I love. I am addicted to super sharp knives. Would buy again

Way to go, Eafengrow!! Wicked Wharncliffe 🙀
The media could not be loaded. Hey. This was one of my first knifes I got after diving head first in the rabbit hole. And it was a lucky choice. This Ef punches hugely above it's weight. Amazing milling on the oh, so slicey beautiful Wharncliffe. Nested liners. And a very modern twist on minimalism. Ef knifes after, like early '23 seem fine as to the heat treatment issues. I am even more impressed today, by this knife then I was when I got it as a newbie. ✨😺

Best affordable knife that I have ever had.
I use it daily for miscellaneous ranch chores and occasionally for butchering an animal. It came reasonably sharp, and once I put a better edge on it, it cut like a dream. Rope, strap, feed bags and cloth are no problem. It cuts shockingly well. Cuts through hair and hide like butter. Did some test cutting on a goat carcass and it moved through flesh like it wasn't even there. Also, the wharncliffe point is very very stabby. Also great for removing splinters.I bought three more as backups, because with my luck, they will discontinue it, and my wife will see me cry when I inevitably lose it. Thinking of giving it a girl's name, but my wife would get jealous. I am not sure if I need that kind of trouble.

Almost perfect...
This review is just of my initial impression, as I have not put the knife through its paces yet. First impression is that it has the build quality of a knife 2 to 4 times the price. The knife has a good, solid feel to it, and good weight to it. It has a really unique look that sets it apart from the typical hunting or multi-purpose knife designs. Opening this knife using the flipper tab is lightning fast. Literally no friction. If I had to find a fault (or two), I'd say that the knife could be about an inch shorter to make it a better EDC. Also, closing the knife with the liner lock using one hand is possible, but risky. Wish it had a Benchmade-style release.
