Comfortable and they stay in place
Just like the eye patches I had to wear as a kid. Nothing's changed. Simple and functional. I'm wearing over my right eye from time to time because my left has gotten lazy and needs to work harder so that it doesn't drift off to the left. I'm not sure that these will help my issue but they stick , but are not so sticky as to pull your eyebrows or hurt when it's time to tear them off. They are not too large...they could fit both adult and child.

Gentlest patch we've tried
Our son has amblyopia and must be patched 4 hours per day. The first patch we used was from a set of free samples that the doctor gave us. They had a beige colored cloth backing and the adhesive irritated his skin terribly. They were very difficult to remove as well. The next type we tried were NexCare. They had a paper backing, were much easier to remove, and did not irritate his skin. When I went to the store to get a new box, they only had the Curad brand. These are even better than the NexCare. They are so much easier to remove that my son asks for them specifically by brand name. The NexCare adhere a little bit better, but since he doesn't pick at the edges, it's not a problem. Anyone who has trouble with irritating adhesive can try a light layer of Pepto Bismol or Calamine (NOT Caladryl) lotion. ---- An additional note: we had to start patching our daughter as well. Because she sweats more than her brother, the Curad patches were falling off. We found that the Nexcare stay in place for her, so we have his and her brands for patches now.

Works pretty well
I bought these because my son has to patch one of his eyes. The price was decent. They stay on unless you have to reposition it. Then they can get a little lose or stick to itself like a bandaid. It's worth it to get them.

Highly recommend!
I was concerned because I am an adult and the picture on the box shows a child. But these patches work so well that I have already ordered more. I need them for post-eye surgery on an eye whose eyelid doesn’t fully close to keep dust out when I sleep. These work very well! The adhesive allows them to come off easily in the morning, but is strong enough to stay on all night. I have even repositioned several of them when I got them on "crooked" and was able to position them a second time, and they still stayed on all night. The price is extremely reasonable and they are a great value!!

Perfect for little cheeks
My little one was injured on his cheek and it was difficult finding a bandage to cover it. To keep it from scarring, we will need to keep it from sunlight for a few months. I had bee buying extra large bandages and trying to cut them to fit his face, but they were awkward and uncomfortable. These eye patch bandages actually fit his cheek PERFECTLY, and without discomfort, without going over his mouth or nose, and are perfect for his little face. We are so happy to have found these and will definitely buy more. Also, he uses these in the pool when he swims, and they do not lose their adhesion. Still stay on even in the pool and using a face mask too. Great product!

Okay in a pinch, but not the best
My daughter has a form of amblyopia that benefits from patching (though neither I nor my wife have ever seen her eyes misaligned). I bought these patches even though others have said the adhesive is weak, but since they are so inexpensive, I thought it was worth a try.Trust the other reviewers on this - my daughter hates this brand - "It won't stick . . . it keeps falling off!"We also use the Ortopad brand and though it is more expensive, it seems to work the best for her.For what it is worth, we have also tried the pirate-type patch (she hated that), and two different versions of cloth patches that attach to her glasses. She hates these, but on a lesser level than the pirate-patch. The problem with those (I bought them online based on good reviews) is that they just can't block out the light completely, especially as the glasses start to slip down her nose.Get the Ortopads.

Works well
I live in a smaller city and no one had eye patches! So I had to look to Amazon to try and find patches. Tried a couple of brands but this one works the best. Even when having to remove the patch and sticking it back on it would stay put. Definitely recommend this brand if you have had some sort of eye surgery and need to cover your eye during recovery.

Great for contact lens wearer who must cover one eye temporarily
I had a laser procedure on one eye which required me not to wear a contact for several days. I was able to use one of these patches on the surgical eye while still wearing a contact in the other eye. I could open my eye underneath the patch and it didn’t bother me even with the eyelashes. Adhesion was good and no residue left after. I tried an eyepatch like a pirate one but did not like the compression around my head with the band. This worked perfectly. Still have several left, used one a day at work.
