Helikon Tex Bandicoot Waist Pack

I bought this for its versatility. It’s the only ‘bum’ bag I’ve found with a belt loop facility- it can slip onto a rucksack hip belt. It’s the usual quality we expect from Helikon. I’ve treated mine to a couple of doses of tent waterproofing to help keep the contents drier.

Great size and quality.

This is the first time in nearly 30 years I've bought this style of waist bag. Like all Helikon products it's absolutely brilliant quality and a lot of thought has gone into it. It's much roomier than the bag I had in the past and is full of tactical features. I am very pleased with this purchase and will probably buy the larger Bushcraft satchel on the strength of this. A+++

I bought this to act as a pocket on my belt for odds and end when I'm in the woods. I use it for snacks/hat and gloves, dog bowl general receptacle. It's not large another litre in capacity and it would have been perfect. Certainly well made good stitching and able to withstand a bit of abuse.

Excellent quality, feels like it will last. It's a nice size too, big enough for phones, wallets, a few tools etc and also fits nice and comfortably with plenty of adjustment, I'm a 38" waist and looks like there is still another 6" more adjustment.

Nice size, wish there were some side compression straps to make the bag smaller with emptier loads. The strap could do with being a bit wider. NOTE: For smaller waists, you need fasten the belt as small as possible and then hook the clip to the available side molle.

The overall quality looks decent. The waist strap is too small for the actual pack and is too short for cross body wear. The biggest problem is custom service on a return. Didn’t give a viable option to return the item. I contacted them twice and got the same automated response. Unless you are sure you want it, don’t buy it. NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!!!

Overall: this thing can hold plenty of stuff but also be super small and is a great organizer of EDC items. Pros: perfect size for travel, EDC, or sporting events where you don't want a bunch of stuff on you. Cons: it's not designed to be a sling bag but if you use it as one the strap is very skinny so it might cut into your neck a bit. Again it's not meant to be a sling but I use it that way.

Very nice product. Constructed very well. Lots of pockets to put small edc things. I bought it for a fishing trip. But I’ll be using it more for sure.

Tek eleştireceğim konu, perlonu biraz kısa. Boyunuz 1.72'in üzerinde ve kilonuz 75'in üzerinde ise çapraz kullanımda perlon çok kısa gelecektir. Perlonu yaklaşık 10-15cm daha uzun olmalıydı. Benim boy ve kiloma göre tam sınırda. Ben severek kullanıyorum. Eğer boy ve kilonuz uygun ise siz de severek kullanırsınız.

Helikon-Tex make consistently great kit and this is no exception. Materials and construction make for something built to last. As this is marketed as part of the Urban Line my only improvement would be inclusion of soft lined pouch for a large mobile phone.
