ATB 3 pcs Professional Salon Hair Coloring Dyeing Kit - Mixing Bowl, Angled Comb and Brush

After 5 months of letting my roots grow out and the salons still not able to help me because of the recent pandemic, I caved and bought an at home hair dye from a potentially reliable at home company. They are supposed to supply you with a "welcome" brush but I figured I would need the bowl and an additional brush anyways. I am very happy I purchased this in addition to what they provider me w my hair dye kit! Theirs was flimsy and not easy. This ATB professional hair kit was amazing. The brush was firm and held hair dye which was great for applying the dye to my horrid grey roots. The brush had a tail comb which made it super easy to part my hair and continuously apply hair dye. The bowl was great, I was able to easily mix up my hair dye. I'm not a professional so I dont know how it actually stands up to other tools but for me, the brushes worked well enough to apply all over my roots and spread the dye well and even. It got the dye saturated in my roots so that most grays were left. I loved it!

I have been dying my hair at home for years and finally decided to grab a dyeing kit and what a difference it has made. This makes dying your hair much easier and allows for more precise color application. Easy to wash after you are done while waiting for color to set. the brush is perfectly firm enough to apply color without feeling like you are scratching your head with steel wool. The bowl is perfectly balanced and does not easily tip over or knock over. The brushes conveniently have a separator on the tail end to segment your hair into manageable sections.

I mean..it is a dyeing bowl and 2 brushes. You can't really mess up the concept lol. Needless to say, this is perfect for dyeing hair, wigs etc. Sure I could have used an old toothbrush and my own bowl but for the price, I figured why not. The kit seems sturdy. Great for professional or personal use. Very easy to clean

I got this brush set for bleaching and dyeing, but I’m slightly disappointed. I like the number of pieces, and this would have been a nice deal, but I don’t care for the texture of the bristles. They’re a bit stiffer and more plasticky than the one I use most often. That may be fine for dye, which I haven’t tried it for yet, but when bleaching my knots, it’s difficult to apply the bleach without pushing it through the lace. I’ll try them for dyeing, but I’ll need to find another for bleaching. The bowl is a nice size. It’s lightweight and easy to grip, with a little handle that helps keep hold on it.

I have not used any similar products in the past, but the tools seemed to be effective and without defect. I mixed my bleach with the rat-tail end of the dedicated brush and used the brush end to apply the bleach (and later toner). I had zero issues with any aspect of this set, despite being a little put-off by how cheap the packaging looked. Everything held up and cleaned easily enough. Perfectly satisfactory.

Definitely not a do it yourself kind of person…but when tough times call…you gotta do what you gotta do. Bye bye grays! This has been a life saver, easy to use, easy to clean and I love it. This package comes with everything you need to do it yourself!

You get what you pay for. This little set is a great value, but the bristles are not sturdy at all and the bowl is flimsy plastic. It did what it was supposed to, but I would have preferred something that was heavier and didn't feel like it was going to break in my hand. If you only color your hair 2-3 times a year this would be fine, but if you need to color every 6-8 weeks don't get this set. You are better off spending a few dollars more and picking up a set from a local beauty supply store to make sure you will have something that will last.
