Works very well with the Arlo cameras. It keeps them charged all the time.

Doesn't run my Pro camera BECAUSE it requires an Arlo battery. Does not charge an off-brand battery. Be sure you use only Arlo batteries.

I had 2 Arlo brand solar panels, after a short time of using them, I got a message to use a compatible solar panel charger. What? It’s their brand, how much more compatible can you get. The reason I chose their brand was because I had read so many reviews of people using third party brands and it not working. I took a chance on this one and it’s been over 2 years and it’s still going strong with no issues and my battery is fully charged all the time. The way it works is it has its own battery and the solar is charging its own battery and then that battery charges the Arlo battery. There was no issues installing it, no issues with the cord, no error messages and stay fully charged. I highly recommend if you have an Arlo to try it out. I have an Arlo pro camera.

Piece of junk. Has not worked, does not keep the battery charged, I have to take the battery out and charge it. A couple reviews mentioned this a I thought bad luck the person just got a defective one.

Pros - Easy to install - The vendor also provides a silicon cover the adds a another layer of protection for the power cord connection to the Arlo Pro 2. Its not pictured but its a great value add. - Fair price - Camera averages about 70+ notifications a day. I also noticed with this much activity the cam has not dropped below 100%. - Vendor provided solid installation instructions. - Tie downs and nails and clips for cable management. Cons - N/A Other thoughts: I placed my solar panel under a 60 Watt LED lamp for about (8 - 10) hours for (2 - 3) days before it was installed. A number of the reviews recommended having the panel installed and not connected for a few days before connecting it to the Arlo Cam.

I don't normally have much faith in electronic gadgets but this thing has worked out great so far I bought this panel here on 4/1/2022 for $10 more than it's current price of $39.99. And at that time, I was concerned about how long its internal battery would last. But so far (been 3 years), it's still working fine through summer, winter, rain and wind storms, days of cloudy weather. and of course sunshine. At least I assume the panel's battery is still good. Or maybe the panel is keeping the camera charged in spite of it... I have no clue. All I know for sure is the camera battery has always remained charged to 100% most of the time and I've never seen it below 99%. I'm impressed.

I initially purchased an iTODOS solar charger over a year ago, but returned it because it did not "seem" to work. However, I now feel that I did not give the first iTODOS charger a fair chance. I ended up purchasing an Arlo solar charger from a big box store. Upon initial use and after reading others' reviews and suggestions I fully charged my Arlo camera battery while leaving the Arlo solar charger sit in the sun for several hours before plugging it in to my camera. I did not do that with the first iTODOS charger. Since I can no longer find an Arlo solar charger for my camera, I decided to try the iTODOS again. This time, I followed the pre-charging like I did with the Arlo solar charger, and I am happy to say (at least so far) the iTODOS solar charger is working great. I need to mention that both solar chargers receive an adequate amount of sun, but they are also charging on cloudy days, as well. The Arlo solar charger will not charge if the weather is too cold, and I believe this is actually because the camera battery is too cold to charge. I assume the iTODOS will work the same way. Also, the lightning bolt doesn't always show up on the Arlo app. for the iTODOS charger, but the camera is being charged! iTODOS explained this is because the solar charger charges first, then charges the camera. I believe this is the case because the lighting bolt does show up intermittently. I am giving this 5 stars since it is meeting my expectations, but will only update my review if the charger fails.

Bought two both work great!

The solar panel sits on my garage roof it doesn’t get full sunlight the as been a lot of cloudy days the camera was 100% charge when fitted the panel has kept it on 100% the camera is on 24/7 the is always a charge symbol on the camera even at night I would say due to the battery in the solar panel had it now one month as been fine the is also a white cover comes with it that covers the back half of the camera for water protection of the cable connector the brown cover on my camera fits over it that has to be bought separately fitted October 2023 UPDATE December 2023 the panel stopped charging but the way it works at a guess the solar panel charges the battery on the back of the panel before it sends power to the camera after two days it’s away again as we have had some dull days and on top of the garage it doesn’t get full sun but it’s fine battery on the camera at 100% again it’s 22:00 now and has been dark since about 17:00 but my Arlo camera is still being charged obviously from the battery on the back of the solar panel UP DATE NOW JUNE 2024 EIGHT MONTHS ON ITS KEEPT MY ARLO CAMERA AT 100% CHARGE AT ALL TIMES HAS SAVED ME GETTING THE LADDER OUT TO CHARGE THE CAMERA UPDATE August 21st 2024 still keeps my Arlo camera at 100% charge UPDATE JANUARY 2025 had some snow fog no sun for a long time my Arlo is on 24 hours and now has n dropped to 38% of charge just had two days of half sun, charge now up to 78% still working fine weather permitting.

So far so good, working perfectly with my Arlo Pro HD cameras. The panel has a great internal battery that will charge first, once fully charged it will then top up the battery in the camera. Previously I would have to take the camera down to recharge the battery every 4-6 weeks due to a me having the settings on high plus have alot of motion at the side of my house, now with this panel I haven’t even had to charge the battery once via the mains. The real test will come winter time, but so far very happy.

We have one of our cameras that is out of reach (for easy charging) AND THIS HAS CHANGED OUR LIFE ! We have not charged our Arlo once so ce we plugged this. Only once we had a huge snowstorm the camera battery died but the next day when the snow had melted it was back up and running. Nothing negative to say. Will buy more for my other cameras even though they are easily accessible it’s juste such a hassle we wouldn’t have to deal with if we had 5 more of these.

Comes with a long code hence was very useful if you have a Arlo camera a little bit further than the code length available from Arlo PV charger panel. Got this as an alternative to Arlo PV and it is pretty good. Been using for almost a year without any issues.
