I used to use Alpecin caffeine shampoo as I was receding at the front of my hair line. After nearly 7 years of using Alpecin I finally had to come to terms that it really wasn't making that much of a difference. Every time I had a good hair day "it must be because I used alpecin in the shower this morning!" But the truth is my hair line was no better off. If anything my hair was getting thinner.I decided to switch to Nioxin after a recommendation from a YouTube video. And my hair is looking thicker and livelier, and my hair line looks much better. Can this product reverse balding? I doubt it. But I was only receding at the front as oppose to balding all over, so I guess it depends on your level of hair loss.

I have Been using Nioxin System 1 Scalp Treatment for over one year and it has worked amazingly well. However I purchased 2 bottles from Amazon EU and after using it for six weeks my hair is falling out. I am not convinced that this is a genuine product and will never buy again from this seller. I would give NO STARS but I had to give one in order to leave this review.

I bought this product as it was recommended by one of my friends. I took the test on the official website to see which system fits best. I found it cleaned my scalp for max the first day. The second day my hair was all greasy like I haven't washed it in a week. I usually wash my hair every two days but the second day my hair looked bad enough. I think, for my friend who has short hair and washes his hair each day, it did a good job, but it didn't work for me and my scalp as I thought it would. Hope this is helpful

This isn't the real deal. It felt different on my hair and left my scalp burning red. Have been using this from my stylist for a long time. Don't waste your money and go direct to your salon for the proper stuff.

I had quite nice full hair for about Year ago as I've used Nioxin for an year now and I started noticing as my friends pointing out that my HAIR HAVE GONE THINNER THEN BEFORE ! I only started using it because I'm a Light Thin Hair type so why not start it now so it stay like that but NO I've lost Even More .. Immediately stopped using it... now my hair have stopped growing hoping somehow I'll recover but I doubt it ! Really Really disappointed

I've been using this shampoo + conditioner for almost 2 months now, but except of the lovely tingly minty sensation it leaves in the hair I did not notice any improvements in the state of my hair.Gonna give it one more try.

Ok my wife purchesed the first batch for me 3 month ago. I was not happy to think my wife felt my hair was not as thickMy wife was right. Ive been using this for about three months now and it works. My wife told me to atop using it as my hair is thicker and slightly darker less grey.
