I bought the cover for the other more expensive airer and it does the job and is a good fit

Q: What is the dimension of the wheels screw thread? I would like to replace them with a height adjustable flat head screw.

No idea, we didn't use them in the end, however I wouldn't recommend buying this, the bottom rack broke in under a year and the plastic bits holding the shelves in place are very flimsy....we are planning to get another from Lakeland instead

About 18inches. There is a crossbar at the top and we put lighter items over this. It definitely saves putting damp clothes on radiators and gives some warmth to the room you use it in
