They asked HOW you sharpen .. not can ?

I think they could be filed like any saw by a professional saw sharpener. If you are careful and don't abuse these saws they hold an edge for a lot of use. You can also buy a new blade for about 1/2 the price of the saw. I have used the 500, 650, and 1000 clearing trail in wilderness areas where chainsaws aren't allowed. I love these saws.

How do you sharpen it when it gets dull?

Yes. Certainly depends on what you're cutting & how often but sharpen as needed & this saw/blade will last years.
