I have a child with autism and this little thing is a lifesaver. Am I being dramatic? Possibly. But it offers peace of mind while I am driving. My child learned very quickly how to unbuckle himself and it would always happen while I was on the highway and couldn't turn around or easily pull over. This little device slides easily over the receptor and the belt clicks in without any issues. It can easily be unbuckled with the provided key or a car key. Literally, anything sturdy enough to push the button. I know first responders will easily be able to unbuckle the belt if - God forbid - anything were to happen. For the $9 that I paid for it, I would 10000000% recommend it.

Such a simple idea but such a great safety device! No more taking off the seatbelt while riding in the car. Makes trips in the car much safer and more enjoyable.

Very easy to use. I was a little skeptical at first how this would work. I’m very happy to say it’s great. No more unhooking the seatbelt on his own. It comes with a little rectangle key to open but I find using my car key fast and easy . No fumbling or worry of lost key. Definetly would recommend.

It fit over the buckle slot on our van perfectly. The slots are only big enough for the buckle to go into it and the keychain/key to unbuckle them. I'm very pleased with the quality of this item, not to mention the message on the keychain made me want to cry at 9am. My children are special needs and their safety means everything. I ordered these as soon as they got too big for their 5-point harness, and I couldn't be happier with them.

This lock works really well, now my child can't unbuckle his seat belt going down the road.

*Edit: My wife and I ended up finding a good use for these after our dog kept setting off the "unbuckled passenger" alarm for the backseat and stepped on the buckle several times on one trip. Our original review, below, still stands for theeir intended purpose.My wife and I found these less than ideal. While they ensured our daughter couldn't unbuckle while we were going down the road, they made it extremely difficult for us to both buckle and unbuckle her and we ended up taking them off. They are sturdy but they just didn't suit our needs and therefore I don't personally recommend them.

This is amazing I have a 6 year old and he likes to take off his seat belt while I’m driving. I didn’t even know these existed till I saw tik-tok video about it. This prevents him from unbuckling himself and crawling to the front seat, it’s nice and sturdy and it comes with a key with a nice message on it, they have a variety of colors but I chose black so it matches my car you can’t even tell it’s there. 10/10 I would recommend it if you have a little one it’s worth it and it’s also not expensive as the other ones I saw :)

My son used to unbuckle himself when we would be close to home or arrived at a drive through. With this he has to wait for me to unbuckle him. The keychain used to unbuckle the belt is really cute and I was reading the message on it at the gas station and I think that makes it extra special.
