Sturdy, comfortable, easy to clean
I bought one of these for my mother two years ago after her occupational therapist recommended a chair style shower chair rather than a bench type. It comes with assembly instructions but you don’t really need any, the assembly is so easy and no tools are necessary. The chair is well made and sturdy. My mother says it is comfortable to sit in and the armrests are the perfect height for her and extend out from the chair seat so there is room for movement. The chair height is adjustable by resetting the pin on each chair leg, also very easy to do. The chair seat and back are easy to clean. I am very pleased with this chair. If I had one negative thing to say it is that I just bought a second chair two years after the first purchase. Why? Because the rubber boots on the chair legs started getting black spots which I assume was mold. I tried soaking the boots in bleach but that did no good. I wish they sold replacement boots because that’s really all I needed. They are good rubber boots so the chair doesn’t slide around when the shower floor is wet.

Sturdy and necessary for anyone with balance issues
Man, it took some convincing for my husband to agree to a shower chair. He said it’s for old people. (He’s 88). He agreed to this model, I bought a chair pad and he has not stopped talking about what a great idea and why didn’t we do it sooner. It’s very sturdy, adjustable height and does not slide in the shower. I would recommended this to anyone, even if it’s just to sit and shave your legs, etc. I read that most home accidents happen in the shower and this is just one preventative measure to keep your family safe. And this chair has side bars to help lift him up, which is a relief for me as well. Less worry. This chair does not look like a typical ‘seniors’ chair you might get at a medical supply place, which made him easier to convince to try it. Definitely worth the money.

Ease of use
Very good product. Easy to assemble. This chair fits well within our bathtub/shower, it is very sturdy and easy to move around! Fits our use very well.

Works well as a shoer chair in a narrow space
My wife tried three previous shower chairs. She used one without arms and that was low for a couple years, but with progressive weakness had trouble standing. I tried two other shower chairs before this one and one was too bulky and heavy to move easily and the other was rickety. This chair is a good balance between size, hight, features (arms and back). It is not rock solid but my wife has confidence in it and it is rated to 300 pounds, though my wife is 175. With hand holds in the shower she no longer dreads shower time. Good price, functional, and easy to assemble.

Great shower chair
I got this after my leg amputation. I have an average width tub and it fit perfectly. Seems very stable, I’m 240 lbs. I would definitely buy again.

Easy assembly just the right size
I have a muscle deteriorating disease and standing or getting up from a chair are most difficult.I needed a shower chair. This one is perfect. Smaller, light weight, easy to assemble, adjustableseat. My showers are much more enjoyable not having to worry about falling and being able towash myself without holding on to the grab bar. I'm 79, female,145 lbs. This chair is a perfect fit.I would recommend.

Quality shower chair. I don’t recommend the separate handle for shower wall.
I bought this because I had a broken foot. It stays put in the shower, is solidly built. I like the textured surface of the seat and that it has holes to allow drainage of water. The handles were sturdy and padded and worked well navigating into and out of the tub/shower.The only issue I encountered was with the separate handle that is to be placed on shower wall and our walls are smooth surfaced. I moistened the suction cups, stuck it on, tugged at it was secure. The next day, I used it and it popped off and I wiped out. Fortunately no injury other than putting too much pressure on my broken foot with the boot being off. Ouch. I really-read directions. It did say that the item should be re-moistened and re-applied every 5 days or so.Still this was the next day. So I again moistened as directed, stuck it on the wall, really tugged on it and it stayed. I checked it before I used it to get out of shower and it popped right off so I threw it out. I feel I followed the directions and it still was a hazard. Use with caution.

Uneven
We had a shower chair, but it was getting older. With my husband coming home from his most recent hospitalization we decided to upgrade. He's a bigger guy, so I looked for a chair that would be safe for him. He really liked the cut-out of this particular seat, giving him easy access to washing the important parts. LOL. This chair was the most expensive of any we looked at, but I paid the extra for the cut-out seat. The chair was reasonably easy to assemble. Self-explanatory, at any rate. Handles were a bit tricky because they need to go in evenly, but it wasn't a big problem. I only gave the chair three stars, though, because it does not sit evenly on all four legs, so it wobbles. The chair is safe, but I can see how a timid person might not think so. It's hard for me to understand why you can't make a chair with all the legs the same length. I sat in it before he did to try to make sure all the rubber feet were on securely and evenly. That helped a bit. The chair is fine and I'm not planning to return it, but it ain't worth $70.
