I don’t know what kind of magical tomato grove Rao’s is sourcing from, but this sauce slapped harder than my Nonna when I said jarred pasta sauce was “fine.” Spoiler: this is not just fine — it’s divine.I opened the jar, took one whiff, and immediately felt like I should be wearing an apron and yelling at someone in Italian. Poured it over pasta, took a bite, and suddenly I was in a candlelit New York restaurant with Frank Sinatra playing and someone calling me “bella.”It’s rich, it’s garlicky, it’s got that homemade “I slaved all day over the stove” taste — except I didn’t. I just opened a jar and let Rao’s do the heavy lifting while I took the credit.Is it more expensive than the cheap stuff? Yeah. But so is therapy — and this tastes better and works faster.

Beyond delicious. This sauce reminds you of what pasta sauce should taste like. My doctor forbade me from all sugar. Ummm, doc have you read the labels?! You are killing me, doc. I bought this based on top ratings it receives and I was totally pleased with the excellence of this superior Italian "gravy." Wonderful rich, thick and succulent topping for pasta. No need to add anything to make RAO"S stand out as a winner that is way ahead of this other jarred spaghetti sauces I have tried. Bad part is, now I am spoiled to the best. Great product, worth the extra money.

Love this brand if I want to use a jarred sauce. One of the better ones. Only downside is, it’s a little costly. Wait for a sale.
