The paint is nice and smooth. Although it's not as dark as it looks in the picture overall the color looks good.

Switching to all Liquitex
The texture and thickness of this brand is better than any other brand I have used. I did not pay attention prior to ordering of the size, but it was a huge surprise getting such a large tube however that is not a negative. It only takes one layer for sufficient coverage.

This is absolutely my favorite kind of paint. It's great for craft projects because it's pigment rich, thick enough to achieve texture, and very workable. I've never had a bottle dry out on me or get gloopy either.
