Smells good and leaves my hair soft and shiny.
I love this brand. It may be a little pricey, but you get great hair care, so I think it is well worth it. My hair is soft and shiny and despite it having been bleached and colored it is looking very healthy. I love these refills too. I was able to reuse an old body-wash bottle for it, and the bag had way more than that entire bottle. For my fine hair, this is perfect, and I never have to brush after a shower because it completely untangles it. This stuff also smells divine without being insanely overpowering.

Great for Color-Treated + Keratin-Treated Hair — Leaves My Hair Soft and Smooth
I bought the OUAI Medium Conditioner Refill specifically because I needed something safe and effective for both color-treated and keratin-treated hair, and this has been a great fit. The formula feels rich and hydrating without being heavy, which is exactly what my hair needs after coloring and keratin smoothing. It leaves my hair soft, smooth, and easy to detangle, and I’ve noticed that it helps keep my color looking fresher between salon visits. My hair also stays sleek without losing the smoothness from the keratin treatment. The scent is light, clean, and slightly floral — noticeable but not overpowering — and it leaves my hair smelling really good. I also like that the refill pouch makes it more eco-friendly and cost-effective, and it’s easy to top off my existing bottle. If there’s one small downside, it’s that if you use too much, it can feel a little rich on finer hair. But using a moderate amount solves that. Overall: A luxurious, effective conditioner that works beautifully on color- and keratin-treated hair, and the refill option makes it convenient and more sustainable. I’ll definitely keep repurchasing.

Lightweight and volumizing for fine, thin, damaged hair
I've tried several other Ouai products (wave spray, leave-in, shampoo), and while they all work very well, none of them seem to have the noticeable impact on my hair's texture and appearance that their conditioner does. The conditioner itself is rich and creamy, smells great, and a little goes a long way for those of us with very fine hair. Even using the conditioner near my roots doesn't seem to leave a residue or any noticeable greasiness. It detangles well enough and leaves my ends noticeably thicker; the bottle's size is worth the cost for what you get, as rare as it is that I can say that about any hair product. Recommended for anyone with fine hair that is prone to flatness or dullness.

Best conditioner!
This is absolutely my favorite conditioner and the refill bag is a great price instead of buying individual bottles. My curtly medium hair is soft, smells amazing- I get compliments all the time- and I have even noticed I am loosing less hair which was a concern of mine. My curly are extremely hydrated and the quality is incredible.

Good at conditioning, but dont like the smell
I don’t have to use very much of it. It is concentrated. It moisturizers my thinning hair well and it does feel thicker. It also makes my gray hair soft. What I don’t like about it is, it is pricey and I dislike the smell. To me it smells like a very strong bath soap, and the scent lingers and is over powering.

Very conditioning and pleasantly fragrant
I have long hair to my waist so I've accepted that I need to use a lot of conditioner, which is why I buy cheap brands. I only bought this expensive conditioner to accompany the OUAI purifying shampoo I had to buy due to temporarily staying somewhere with hard water, and I LOVE it. A little really does go a long way with this conditioner, thankfully, so it lasts a lot longer than other expensive conditioners that weren't as efficient. My hair is noticeably softer and shinier. My favorite part is that it's very fragrant all the way up to my next wash. That's pretty impressive, considering I use 2 leave in conditioners and heat style my hair. If you dislike strong or lingering perfume-y hair care, you might not like it.

Love the results, the scent is tolerable but get I get compliments
I was on the fence on this with the price and scent, but after a while I realized it’s been tho only conditioner that makes my fine but also gray hair super hydrated. I leave masks on but my hair doesn’t seem to absorb it unless I leave it in for up to a half an hour. I really don’t have time or patience for long deep conditioning treatments so I might purchase this. I like the quick absorption and great results. For some reason, the scent is a bit odd to my sensitive nose however, I get compliments on the scent every time I use it so…

After years of use I'm moving on...
I've used QUAI shampoo and conditioner and many of their other products for years, but mainly, I've been switching and trying out their various conditioners, hoping I'll find one I like. I love the quality and clean ingredients, which is why I keep repurchasing, but lately, I'm also finding it harder to get my very long hair squeaky clean. I'm currently using the Thick shampoo & conditioner, and for some reason, my scalp always feels greasy. I will do a deep clarifying shampoo/rinse between washes to see if that helps. My real frustration lies with their line of conditioners. When applied, OUAI Thick smells unpleasingly strong and very perfumey. Don't get me wrong; I love scented conditioners that make your hair smell amazing and have staying power, but to me, QUAI conditioners smell like a cheap knockoff (old lady) perfume, and they definitely don't make me smile when using them. Their shampoos and other products smell good, so I don't know what's going on with their conditioners. It doesn't fit with their line; IMO their conditioners have an unpleasant synthetic smell. Secondly, the conditioner applicators are awful. I have to remove the top completely, and I tap the container against my hand like I'm trying to get the last bit of ketchup out. They need to figure out a different design for the top or sell the conditioner in a tub style once the scent issue has been fixed. I doubt I'll repurchase, but I may revisit if improvements are made. Right now, there are just too many negatives, and for a higher-end conditioner, I expect better.
