I purchased two of these pencils - brown and black. Brown for my eyelid just above my lash line and black for my upper eyelid just along the lashes on the underside.The pencils work great for both purposes. I have found in the past that this type of pencil (wood that must be sharpened) tend to be harder than the twist-to-dispense type of pencils, so I was concerned. But no cause for worry - these pencils go on very smoothly without little to no pressure - no pulling or tugging of the delicate skin around the eyes. Easy to get a softer line or a sharper one by how hard you press. Contrary to another reviewer's experience, I had no problem smudging the pencil, and it has not worn off quickly, but stayed looking good.I have not experienced any irritation or itchiness as mentioned by some others. Perhaps they have an allergy they weren't aware of. Although a bit more expensive than the grocery store brand pencils I was using previously, I feel it's a good value for high quality, natural ingredients in a pencil form that should last a good long time.

This goes on so easy.I had stopped using eye liner that had to be sharpened because it was always so dry and I'd have to burn it to get it on.When I switched to using natural products there were a lot less options to choose from especially affordable options.I looked this up on EWG and it scored good so I gave it a shot and I'm glad I did.It goes on so smoothly and it looks great.I've had it for over a month now and it hasn't dried out at all. It still goes on just as smooth as it did the first time I used it.I love that it's natural and safe.I love that it's affordable and will definitely keep using it.

This is probably the best pencil eyeliner I've ever used! I love the fact that it's a true, dark, black shade! I have purchased other brands in the past that were supposed to be black but come out too light or look more gray or even brown.It's also very easy to use as it goes on with ease. It has almost a creamy effect to it, which I absolutely love! It also is very impressive with the fact that it's a vegan product! I personally strive to go for more natural products and always get beauty products that are cruelty free! This was a big deal to me and I'm so glad this company feels the same!Overall, I'm so thrilled with this eye pencil and I also love that it doesn't cost all that much! I can totally see myself buying this product again in the future!

This eyeliner is affordable, goes on dark and smooth, and doesn’t burn my eyes like every other eyeliner. Though not waterproof and certainly smudgeable, it also survives sweating and tearing much better than other soft pencil liners and contributes to raccoon eye probably 60% less than what I’m used to.But! I’m really surprised by the PETA certification since beeswax is not vegan and farming it is not necessarily cruelty free. If you feel that bee farming helps keep dying populations stable, have at this. If you feel that maintaining a captive species because the wild populations are dying out due to human interference with the environment doesn’t count towards animal advocacy, don’t have at this.

I have sensitive eyes and this eyeliner doesn’t bother me at all. It also goes on easily and smoothly. I will definitely buy again.

I wanted to love this eyeliner! But I cannot use it at all. It's causing irritation to my eyes & eyelash follicles. I've used the eyeliner 3 times. The first time, I thought it was my springtime allergies... Second time, I suspected the JobaColors eyeliner because the irritation was localized to where I'd applied the eyeliner. Third time... well, I tried to give it one more shot, but still had the same irritation around my eyes. I do have really sensitive skin & eyes, so I'm not surprised I'm going to have to toss out yet another makeup product, though I was hoping this would finally be the eyeliner for me, since it's all natural. I'll have to keep looking :(On the plus side, it applies smoothly. It wears OK. It fades somewhat and it will smudge into your upper eyelid if you don't let it dry before fully opening your eyes. But just let it dry first & use a makeup setting spray to help it last/not smudge.

Fantastic Natural

I bought this because I can’t find Pacifica’s eyeliner anymore. This is ok, but it reads grey and drags on the lid. It’s also not super long lasting, as most natural products are not. That being said, I’ve found if it’s warmer, it works better. I literally just tuck it under my leg if I’m sitting or put it in my pocket while I’m doing the rest of my makeup and my the time I’m ready for liner, it’s warmed up a bit. I thinks it’s ok for a natural product and being beeswax based, makes sense that it works better warm, but overall needs improvement in pigmentation, texture, and wear time.
