Excellent for the price point.
I wear this RunMax pro 40 ib vest mainly when I hike up mountains and go bike riding. First thing I want to mention is putting this on really adjusts your posture to a very natural position. I have had minimal pain wearing this, even when hiking long distances. No pain in shoulders or lower back as of yet.It might help if you use your phone or a mirror to properly strap this vest on and adjust as necessary. If you do so, you might not need to buy the non-including shoulder straps they sell for this. I think it's so well designed that it really isn't necessary, but experiences do vary, and I suggest just adjusting it slightly as needed, but just getting the straps across as straight as possible should do it.I will say, despite it's apparent simplistic aesthetic, I think the design of this vest itself is excellent for usage. The quality overall is very good, but I have noticed that maybe after the 4th hike the velcro straps did start to wear out, but I suppose that's to be expected with 40ibs ofT A C T I C A L S U P E R I O R I T Y bouncing all about. Well, it's not quite tactical as it could use more pockets. However, you do have a front pocket that'll hold your precious livelihood (yes, your cell phone) there's a metal ring I use for my keys, and even a whole water bottle holster to arm yourself to the teeth with liquid rehydration....Yeah... Well, there's not much to say about this vest really. It's relatively comfortable, it doesn't feel too constraining or put you at risk of overheating due to it's very airy design... Somehow, despite the RunMax name, I'm not sure this is the most aerodynamic of designs 🤔 but I digress. This vest does have the option to remove sandbags so I suppose you COULD have "added storage" for the removal of weight, but I'm just not sure what you'd be putting in those kinds of pouches aside from the occasional candy/granola bar 😳In all seriousness this vest is great, even despite it's very basic exterior. Compared to other vests, it's comfortable for many different sizes, you have lowered risk of overheating, lowered risk of pain and it's adjustable to your needs as you become a chiseled masterpiece overtime. If it ever did just have more pockets, this would be quite sublime. If you need, you can consider buying a drawstring backpack, and items with very appealing names such as "wAtEr bLaDdEr" and "fAnNy pAcK" to keep you hydrated AND storage friendly. And maybe some sort of solar external battery (that's rightI just called you out again!) And I'm not saying anything about anything, but in a pinch, if in case of a pesky zombie apocalypse this thing IS still 40 ibs. You do the math... What are you waiting for? For 50 bucks go get those glutes in shape err get your butt in gear

Long-Term Use of the Weighted Vest
After extended use of this adjustable weighted vest, it remains a highly effective tool for enhancing endurance, strength, and overall workout intensity. However, one notable consideration for long-term wear is shoulder discomfort.Key Observations:✔ Effective for Shorter Workouts – This vest performs exceptionally well for high-intensity training, such as sprinting, calisthenics, and bodyweight exercises. The adjustable weight system allows for versatility in resistance training.✔ Good for Hiking & Rucking – While beneficial for outdoor activities, prolonged wear may cause noticeable shoulder fatigue due to the pressure of the added weight.⚠ Shoulder Strain Over Time – Extended use, especially with heavier loads, can lead to discomfort in the shoulders and upper traps. Adjusting the straps can help distribute the weight more evenly, but prolonged wear will still exert pressure on these areas.Best Use Cases:• Short-to-medium duration workouts (30–60 minutes)• Strength and endurance training• Weighted hikes or rucking (with mindful breaks to prevent excessive strain)Final Verdict:This vest remains a high-quality, effective training tool, particularly for short-duration, high-intensity sessions. However, for longer workouts, users should be mindful of potential shoulder fatigue and consider adjusting the load accordingly.

Well made and it is helping get my workouts to the next level!
I purchased this to get an extra work out while walking with my wife who prefers a slower pace than I do. So far, it has been working great! I bought the 40 lbs vest and took a bunch of weight out to start. This week I added another bag back in. It was easy to take out and put back in.Solid construction, the stitching seems like it will hold up well over time.Overall it feels comfortable (as it can be) while wearing it. I mean really, it's a bunch of extra weight so...take that into account. I like the little pouch on the left side, it stretches to fit my iPhone 14 Pro Max with a case on it.Two thumbs up from me!

Weighted vest
First, let me cover the pros. The vest is very comfortable to wear. I wore it around the house before I took it for a test drive, and it is well balanced and comfortable to wear. After using it on a 2-mile route, it remained comfortable.I like the fact that it's adjustable in being able to take out weights to suit your needs. I haven't taken any out, but the option is there if you need it. I also like that it has an elastic 'pocket' on the outside, I use it to hold a cell phone. There's only 2 cons, and those are just preference I suppose. One is that there is no quick release for the shoulders, meaning you have to heft the vest over your head to put it on and take it off. Not a deal breaker however. Next is that there's little in the way of customization. There are no loops to add anything like additional pouches, holders, or the like. Again, not a deal breaker.I've been rucking with it for 2 months now, and it's holding up really well. Seems really durable to me.

Good quality and price.
The media could not be loaded. The video isn’t as much about this specific vest but showing it being used.I took all but 4 bags out and it feels heavier than 12#. Not complaining. The fit is pretty good. Will likely fit most not all size ppl well. I have a 50” chest so the Velcro is kind of in the wrong place but if you’re a men’s large or smaller it’ll probably be a great fit.Doesn’t move around- I incline walk at 12 incline and it stays put.It doesn’t take much to add some serious cardiac effect on an incline with weight.Definitely worth a shot and the price and quality are very good.
