Great pieces, most are flawless (one piece had a noticeable blemish, but that was it.) The wide variety of colors is also a plus, and the size is just right. If you need wargame pieces (say, for Diplomacy) these will do the trick. I *should* deduct a star for the seemingly-high price, but then I'm one who thinks he should still be able to buy sizable plastic toy trucks for the nephews for $5 each, so I'll concede my perspective may be a bit off.

Perfect product for a creative wargamer
I'm not the hugest war gamer, but my father is. We were playing the World War One Axis & Allies and I thought of a neat idea to give a shot at a Napoleonic era one for him and his friends. I had no idea where to start, because that is all I had; An idea. Then stumbling Amazon I found this.Plastic miniatures that look just like the soldiers of the Napoleonic Wars AND Cannons, Cavalry, and Warships too. Easy to say I ordered these the next day. They work fantastically with countless war board games. You could even use these with small poker chips to replace those pesky cardboard counters.

Great for Diplomacy
As I understand it, the Morrison miniatures are for use with their own game system, but these pieces certainly can work well with other games. Many will be tempted to use them for Risk, although Risk typically involves more pieces and no ships. But a great fit is the old Avalon Hill game (now Hasbro), Diplomacy. Under dim light, our old Diplomacy set's Italian and French units can be confused (green vs. blue-green). This series of pieces fixed that problem, plus the articulated ships and land units made the game more expressive. We tried two options: (1) we gave each nation its usual color except we gave the only blue color in the set to the French, we used red for the British "redcoats" (not the Austro-Hungarians), and we gave Austria-Hungary the gray units, or (2) we gave the Turks the orange units (since the old Turkish flag was red and yellow, and orange is a blend of the two colors), gave the French the yellow/gold units (to symbolize the old fleur-de-lis of French heraldry), and gave every other nation its original color. You can also play a variation of Diplomacy where every neutral supply center is garrisoned, using the eighth (unused) color to cover those supply centers. Take your pick of cavalry, infantry, or artillery for your Diplomacy armies. Ships are sailing vessels common to the 1800s rather than the steel-hulled ships common in 1908 (the theoretical starting year of the game), but Diplomacy has variants that recreate scenarios as far back as the Napoleonic War, so no big deal. Upon delivery, we did have one cavalry piece's horsetail show up broken, but a quick dab of super glue was all that was needed, and that piece's tail has been fine ever since.

Great Product!
These are excellent! I ordered them to use in a board game I am developing and they fit the bill perfectly. They arrived quickly and were in great condition. The pieces arrived separated from one another (unlike some figurine sets where you have to separate each piece from a larger tray).I am very pleased with this product.
