Life changing
I went down a rabbit hole one night about modern shoes and how they distort the natural growth of your feet causing lower back and knee problems along with common foot problems . So I started looking at these types of shoes with most costing 100 dollars or about . Not wanting to dive that far in I purchased these and I can tell you within a week you feel a huge difference Totally comfortable your toes and feet feel stronger you just feel better more natural . The only thing you might get is grief on how they look from co workers and family only because they aren't used to it . Id defiantly will be purchase these again .

Perfect fit
I had concerns about the fitment but figured its Amazon so why not..... The moment I got the box I immediately open it and the shoes look like my feet. I put it on and it was like putting on a thick pair of socks for it fit lightly snugly on my feet. It does feel just a little different walking since it does not have that big heel like normal shoes and standing in these I can tell immediately that it does not irritate my back so for now I love it.The next thing is to see how long it lasts that will be the ultimate task.

Most comfortable shoes I've ever owned
I have owned several pairs of minimalist / zero-drop shoes, and these are the most comfortable. I hardly notice them at all which is the point right?I have been wearing them as casual shoes and haven't put them to the trail running test so I'll need to update my review after that.I would give them 5 stars except for a few styling and design things.- The shape of the tongue is a little awkward and sits high out of the shoe.- The lacing system works really well but there is a lot of extra length to the laces and even with the velcro attachment they flop around a lot and tend to get caught on things.- The heel pull straps stick straight out the back of the shoe. I ended up cutting mine off.

Different Products Under Same Name and Description
These shoes from this company are great! However, I bought two more pairs in different colors after my first order in the same size and found the shoes are actually different. On my original order, the shoe had a velcro strap. On the new order, the shoe does not have the velcro strap, which is fine but the ones without the strap run small (putting my toe in the end of the shoe) so I had to return them. So be careful to note if different shoes are ganged on the same product under the same name and description (but different sized). Aside from this, I really like these shoes!

Best shoes I've ever owned, and the only ones I'll ever buy again
Have been using these shoes for about 6 months now for my daily needs (general use, trail jogs, gym) and I've never been happier. I have high arches, and no arch support shoe ever fits the way it should. I suffered from really bad plantar fasciitis that would flare up shortly into a run, and I got sick of dropping hundreds of dollars on special shoes and inserts that didn't help. I heard about zero drop shoes on a running forum and decided to give these a try. It took a few weeks to get used to having zero arch support and little to nothing between my feet and the ground. Your feet will get sore and ache during this transition, but carefully push through it. I can now wear these shoes everywhere for everything, and my feet and ankles feel great! No more plantar fasciitis when running, and my natural arches have gotten very strong. They're perfect for weight lifting as my feet meet the floor naturally for stability. Added bonus is that the toe box is super wide, so no more ingrown toenails. Best shoes I've ever had hands down.

A Lot of Shoe for a third of the Price.
I have been dealing with a long term lower back/hip problem. I recently started seeing a sports Chiropractor / Personal Trainer. As he was doing his preliminary evaluation of me he noticed my ankles and feet were very stiff, also my toes were crunched together. He explained these parts of my body should be mobile and move when my feet hit the ground. He explained to me, when the feet and ankles don't move as they should it can cause other parts of the body that should be immobile to try to move in a way that they should not....such as the SI joint that connects my hip to my sacrum. He explained that shoes with higher lift, too much support or padding actually prevent the foot and ankle from moving like they were intended too. He also said a shoe with tight toe box that squeezes your toes together also keep your foot from flexing the way it should.I had actually heard this before. Several years back I bought some Vibram Five Fingers barefoot shoes to try to get a more natural foot and ankle motion. If you have not seen these shoes, they look almost like a neoprene sock with a thin Vibram sole. I really liked wearing them. Because there is no cushion at all they forces your feet, ankles and toes to flex and move to absorb shock and adjust to the ground under your feet. Because they are thinner you tend not to slam your feet into the ground when walking or running.Anyway....I went home and busted out the old Five Fingers. After doing this I was reminded of their shortcomings. The first thing was the model I have has very thin soles.....truly barefoot in feel. You can walk on the sidewalk or street after you learn not to slam your foot down like in regular shoes, which btw is the whole point of wearing them. What you can't do is walk on things like the crushed rock paths we have around my house. The soles are too thin. The second thing is you sort of get tired with folks asking about your crazy shoes. Essentially I wore them to the gym and on walks. My Chiro recommended Altra wide toe box / zero lift (same height at heel and ball of foot) shoes, which go for $140 or so. I decided I would rather find a cheaper experimental pair....enter the WHITIN minimalist wide toe box trail runner. The WHITINs are sort of a wannabe barefoot shoe. In fact, you can pull the thin heel pad out if you want nothing between you foot and the ground but the sole. They are made of a stretchy material and mimic the Five Fingers the way they hug your foot. The sole itself is thicker than the Five Fingers. I am able to walk crushed rock trails with no issues. As I mentioned previously, the Five Fingers look sort of weird. The WHITINs look closer to a regular shoe. I can wear them almost anywhere. These shoes really do what I need them to do.The only reason I dropped a star is the closure system on the shoe. The shoe has stretchy cord laces you tighten then secure with a little plastic push button buckle and then at the top they have a Velcro strap. To me it is a bit of overkill. I think if the laces went to the top they would have done the job. If they broke they would be easy enough to replace. The Velcro on the other hand....when it is done it is done....time to throw out the shoes. That said, I can by three pairs of these for the price of a pair of Altras or Five Fingers. With that in mind, I wholeheartedly recommend these WHITIN minimalist wide toe box shoes if you want your feet and ankles to move like God intended them to.Sizing is spot on. I wear 9.5 in my New Balance Trail Runners and the 9.% WHITINs fit perfectly.

Shoe size not accurate and not comfortable to wear.
After seeing the great reviews on the internet about these shoes I came over to Amazon to purchase them. I had noticed that the listing stated that the shoes are "true to size" and made a purchase for my size 12 shoe. When I received them after being delivered I tried them on and came to find out that the size I normally wear are a size to big. I had wrote the seller about this issue with NO response. I originally purchased these to be my daily exercise walking shoe and after wearing them for the first time and completing a 2 hour walk on flat pavement I developed a serious blister on the bottom of my left foot and a small one on my right foot to where it wasn't that noticeable (but if had gone for another hour it would've been worse). Never have I ever had a shoe do this to my feet. These maybe a good shoe if they fit really snug to where they don't shift from under your feet while wearing them, but as you can see in the image I've provided they're not that great.

Great Barefoot/Minimalist Shoes!
I love these shoes! I have had such a hard time finding shoes that fit my feet well. The wide toe box on these fit me great. When looking into barefoot/minimalist shoes I quickly realized that they are incredibly expensive. These shoes are a good price. They are zero drop and very flexible. They really do check off all of the boxes for a minimalist shoe. Now the couple of things that I don't like. These are not major issues more just some things that I am not a huge fan of. 1) the insoles are very thick and padded. They are actually around 9mm thick and even have some arch support. This is pretty much against everything that you are told to look for in barefoot shoes. Luckily with the insoles removed these are great. The stack height gets reduced down to 7mm with the insoles removed (including the treads which are around 3mm deep) which is pretty good. Now for issue 2) this is a minor one but the glue that holds the sole to the shoe is very visible around the edges. This is not a big deal but it would look better if this glue was not visible. It might be more visible because I bought black shoes and the glue is white but I believe it should be less visible overall. With all that being said I love these shoes. They are wide, comfortable, very flexible and breathe well. I will definitely be buying more when I need too. So far I have over 60km of walking in these shoes over concrete, gravel, mulch, mud and even some climbing over fallen trees and they have been great the whole time.

Go a half size smaller you don't wanna have foot movement in the shoe while running.
I've never had shoes like this !Never even heard of minimalist shoes b4 last month!Running in responders half marathon in 19 days lol ...I hope to be wearing these bad boys for it!!Will update afterwards cheers !Update ...didn't win the half lolBut finished with fresh feet !! No foot pain at all ...5 * from me!!About sizing .....because they take a long time to get the shoes to you ,you wanna get it right!..... I stood on a peice of paper and traced ea foot ...measured carefully and made my order that half size down from my regular daily cushion shoe.

incredible
These shoes are the best. Extremely comfortable, light weight and have amazing traction. I bought these for running on a treadmill due to knee pain with my Nikes but I don't want to take them off. I've been wearing them all day for everything. These shoes are meant for toe-to-heel running and that definitely takes getting used to if you've been doing heel-to-toe all of your life as I have. When I'm wearing my "normal" shoes and doing heel-to-toe I feel a bit of a burn in my thighs but that's it, my legs don't really get tired. First day of running toe-to-heel with these shoes my calves were completely gassed for the first time in my life. My calves have never been worked to this extent before. I could only run a bit more than half as long as I normally can due to my muscles holding me back with this new foot strike, but I also had no knee or joint pain. I've seen other reviews of people saying their feet muscles get worked as well. Maybe when my calves get stronger I'll experience the same. The tread feels thick enough that I'd be confident in running with these outdoors without anxiety over stepping on small sharp objects. The fit is as expected while wearing socks. For barefoot I'd suggest dropping a half size.Out of the packaging they have a bit of a weird smell. That's the only thing I dislike about them.
