Tiny bits of awesome.
Just what you think it is, a watch died to bring you these parts...use them wisely. While super-small and often quite pointy, these pieces, when super-glued into a mass of parts, can create an AWESOME steampunk centerpiece for a costume. They are always quite handy for building out any Steampunk props, as just a few can turn anything simple into something complex. I built a Tony Stark's Steampunk Heart out of them and it was delicious. The mix of brass and steel is quite nice. Yes, mine came with a watch face as well...which I didn't use, but was pretty cool.

Great!
Fun additions for any project ( scrapbooking , mixed media, etc) Very tiny! So I would be careful around little ones.

Genuine watch parts!
These are actual parts from watches: gears, springs, escapements, stems, posts, screws, etc. I even got a watch face and a few gear plates. There seems to be more than enough of everything in this small bag for a clever person to reconstruct a working watch if they so desired. Or perhaps the parts could be used to build a miniature clockwork robot! It is certainly better suited to building miniature working devices rather than the "glue a gear on it" approach to steampunk decoration.

AWFUL- DO NOT PURCHASE
Usually when I receive something and it's not what I expected, I chalk it up t experience and leave it alone. This is the first "bad review" I have EVER given. Yes, I read the title that includes the words "Watch Gears and Cogs" - and perhaps three of the items shown in the picture may be in the tiny bag, but that's it. If you are looking for a tiny bag filled with the innards of two and half badly made watches, then go ahead and buy it. If, however, you actually want to MAKE SOMETHING with "steampunk items" then skip this and buy something else. Anything else.

Not worth the money!
Very over priced! This us only selling because people are not reading the description before buying. This is a very small amount of torn apart watch parts! I could have got this at a second hand store for a dollar. Most is smaller then your pinky nail! Buy with caution.

Meh. Is as pictured.
Here's what up. The size of the bag is what I was expecting, the size of the gears is much smaller than I was expecting. I took apart an old clock and then wanted more gears. The majority of what was in this bag was tiny in comparison to what I got out of a 4"x4" wind up alarm clock. One little annoying thing is I wanted it kinda quickly but didn't want to pay $20+ extra dollars to have it expedited. Here's why I'm glad I didn't. The same night I ordered a single lens clip from a store standard shipping. I ordered this bag of gears standard shipping. I got the single lens clip 2 days before I needed it and I got the bag of gears 2 days after I needed it. Glad I didn't pay extra shipping to try to get it a day earlier if they weren't gonna process it and send it in time anyway.

Small but real cogs and gear pieces
These are real pieces out of watches and other bits, so they are very small. Despite the size I still found things I could do with them.

Good stuff!
I am doing steampunk costumes and needed some smaller gears for the stuff I am making. This fit the bill and they have a website with craft ideas as well.
