DigiQ DX3 BBQ Temperature Controller Green and Digital Meat Thermometer for Big Green Egg, Kamado Joe, Weber, and Ceramic Grills

I use this with my medium size Weber Smoky Mountain smoker.I didn't want anything complicated that uses Wi-Fi, and this is perfect. Monitors the temperature, and raises and lowers it as need be. Makes a whole thing foolproof.It took a while to pull the trigger on on this, but I wish I had done it sooner.

This makes a long cook in the Big Green Egg so much easier ! Set the temp and it stays there! Can cook overnight without having to constantly check on the temp! Best gift ever for my husband.

This is my second DIGIQ. The first lasted 4-5 years and I was happy with it. Just received this one and completed one cook using it. I can hardly tell the difference between the DIGIQ 3 and the original. The main difference I see is the fan and the fan mount (insignificant). This works as well at the original. I guess the buttons are harder to press but so what. I am happy so far. It really upgrades the BGE.

I bought this for my son, who just got a WSM. I have been using one on my WSM for years and think it's great!

Used for a pork butt last night for the first time.I stoked the fire a little high at the start but once it evened out the unit did a very good job of maintaining a pretty consistent temp for 10 hours, even with wind.Got a little cool towards the end of the cook, but the wind had stopped as well, opened the draft a little and it got back to steady temp quickly.Overall product seems to work as expected. Hopefully it will last .

I love the reliability and accuracy of this product. When attached to the blower on my Big Green Egg smoker, I was able to do multiple projects and even sleep all night while the BBQ smoking!!

Purchase this unit to replace a DigIQ that was 14 years old which had gotten submerged and fan output no longer worked. Old unit temperature was always spot on. New unit both pit and meat temperatures were reading 15 to 20 degrees high. I checked against both thermo works pen and MEATER. Both were reading same temperature but DidIQ was reading 20 degrees higher on both probes. Not good!

Best product for heat control for the BGE…. I have owned 2 at this point. I would love to try the one with WiFi! For the price your getting the best heat control possible. I set my smoker to 225 and had 14 pounds of meat on the smoker. Woke up in the morning, and the meat was smoked perfectly. Literally set up the BGE, and forget it. No screwing with vents, or over heating BGE.
