I like how easy it is to switch from radio to Bluetooth, and how easy the install is took me 10 mins. But for such a small radio it sure is expensive

Huge Improvement over Kicker KMC1. Installed on tritoon - added 2 more speakers and Subwoofer. Sub control is nice and there are lots of custom audio settings... Overall really happy with it!

Works Great, Bluetooth is fantastic and sound is excellent so far! I Would buy another.

its a great head unit with lots of power to run 4 to 8 speakers and tons of flexibility and functionality. Sounds great too. BUT after about 4 months, the volume control on it has a mind of its own as it turns up all the way by itself for some strange reason. And it drives me crazy. Rockford Fosgate makes great products , but I believe mine is a hoax.

I installed this unit in a pontoon boat. It worked great for 13 months. Last time we went out I noticed that the display screen was detached from the main unit (as if it had come unglued). It fell off and rendered the unit worthless. Now I have a $325 useless piece of equipment that is one month out of warranty, which may not have mattered anyway since a lot of comments on Amazon state that Rockford Fosgate doesn't honor warranties on units purchased from anyplace but an authorized dealer. It did work great, but for the money it should last longer than 13 months.Update: Apparently the warranty may still be in effect, and the seller may be authorized. I can't say for sure because the seller has not yet replied to my inquiry.

I thought I would leave this review to help anyone in the future hoping to use this with a 4-channel external amp.The Rear RCA's can be set to either Full Range or Subwoofer. Of course, I would expect them to be in Mono when set to Sub, but to my surprise (and confirmed by Fosgate Tech Support) they stay in Mono when in Full Range. In fact, you can't Fade forward, you have to use the "Sub Level" buttons (renamed to "Full Range" in the HU) to try and set the level on the rears. Why even label the rears L & R LOL.To summarize, this HU has RCA outs for the front, and RCA outs for subwoofer - don't count on using the rears for full range unless you don't care about stereo sound and/or using the fader.To be fair, the high level speaker outs do perform properly. But that is one ghetto way to handle rear RCA's on a HU costing over $300. Dumping this one and moving on to the compatible priced WetSounds model with proper RCA outs.

I hooked it up to 2 Kicker 8" on my boat - took 30 minutes to install with all wiring, no amp. Very waterproof and is everything I need on the 20 ft pontoon.
