SOLA Dive 1200 Combo Kit, Black

My first dive lights so I have no basis of comparison. The SOLA is great, very bright, and has two settings (wide and narrow light beam) with the ability to increase or decrease the intensity of the light. Only a small issue with the switch sticking underwater and shutting the light off. However it has a locking mechanism that solved the problem. I also found the hand mount took some getting used to. It would be perfect if you could rotate or adjust the angle of the light but it’s fixed. The GoBe is a great little light too. I didn’t realize it had interchangeable light heads until after my dive trip and just ordered the UV head for my next night dive.

The Sola wrist strap light is fine for the money, but the small backup light is of super low quality and the battery only lasts about 15 minutes. It's not safe to use it as a backup light. Don't but this if you are excited about 2 lights. Instead, pay the price for 2 quality lights and in the end you will be happier.

This is the best light I’ve ever used. The battery capacity, ease-of-use, and safety features are great. In addition to a lockout mode for travel or storage, it also has a physical lock on the slide switch. The lights have a temperature sensor to shut off the light before it lights anything on fire, and a fail safe in case the sensor fails.

I have the older version of the light and I upgraded to this one it is a pretty good value for the money
