Worth the money
The instructions are pretty good, but can be a little confusing because of all the different motor make/models. It did take me a little bit of trial and error when putting it together and taking it apart. But all the parts are pretty good quality. I am very happy with the final product because it’s so much smoother than my original cable steering. I should have done it sooner.Only drawback, is that the steering column does not tilt up or down. Once it’s set in place, it’s set. There’s probably an after market kit you could purchase but that was the only issue I found

Great system, shipped with wrong helm cap.
This is a single helm system which requires a vented helm cap/plug. Dometic must be looking to maximize profits as they ship the single helm system with a non-vented cap. Got the vented cap shipped from Amazon for ~$24.You’ll need SeaStar Solutions HP6126 Vented Plug.

Should have got this sooner
Awesome product not hard to install instructions are spot on. A tad bit expensive but I don’t won’t to get stuck out on the water. Worth the expense.

Great product, much improved steering.
Best my boat has steered since it was new. Both my son and I hooked up backwards, but easy enough to correct. Didn't pay attention to reverse lines at the motor. Actually great instructions if this novice can do it.

Straight forward product.
The instructions were pretty clear to follow. Took me an afternoon to remove old steering cable and install this.
