Q: I ordered 6 pair but only was sent 3 pair. They are great but were are the other 3 pair of bookends I paid for?

Pretty sure the description was for six individual bookends not six pair especially for the price.

Q: Would these work for vinyl records, on a shelf? Like size wise and strength

I returned these because they kept falling over when I tried to take out a book. If you look closely, the base is only on one side which makes these book ends unstable. You need to search for bookends where the base extends on both sides for stability. The bookends are also too short to hold up vinyl records that you will be continually searching through. I think that is probably stating the shipping weight as the bookends are lightweight aluminum and weigh 6.8 oz each (as weighed on a digital scale). Hope this helps.
