Forged Synergy 8-inch Chef's Knife

I love this knife! It really has a quality feel to it and fits perfectly in my hand. It's very substantial and feels like it should cost at least double. It even feels better than another Henckels knife I own that cost over 3 times what I paid for this one. It holds an edge very well and I've owned it for over a year and I have not had the need to have it professionally sharpened yet. With regular honing the blade stays extremely sharp. I like the Synergy line so much I bought the serrated knife and the paring knife and these are the only knifes I have in my knife drawer! I even bought one for my parents. Great knife for the price.

There is little difference between this knife and other forged knives from J. A. Henckels apart from price and origin. This is made in China and much cheaper, but not inferior to my other Henckels made in Germany. Same performance and construction. No flaws, very sharp and heavy, does all common kitchen tasks without loosing sharpness.

I worked at a restaurant for over a year 6 days a week 13 plus hours a day and this knife kept up great, has a nice heavy feel to it which makes cutting meat very easy the only setback that I can think of is that it does not come as sharp as you can imagine a new knife to be out of the box, but a nice sharpening did the trick and honing every time before use has made this a very dependable knife in this restaurant.

I have been using these cheap paring knives I bought on sale, and they have been OK at doing the job the were meant to do, but larger jobs on bigger veggies or proteins made it cumbersome, until I BROKE down and bought this Henkels. I read the reviews about it and people keep complaining about how the stainless steel gets stained... HERE is a TIP: don't put your GOOD KNIVES in the dishwasher. ACTUALLY you handwash the knife, dry it immediately and store it--so you avoid the stains, and accidental cutting because this knife is VERY sharp and if you avoid it touching other metal/hard surfaces I am sure it can stay sharp and stain free. Its a great purchase and now a total must have in my kitchen. LOVE IT!

I have always had good experiences with Henckels knives, and these are no exception. Although on the cheap end as far as knives go, they are good quality knives, and feel very solid. I love the balance as well, the handles are really well built and easy to grip even if your hands are slippery, and I have fairly large hands and I love the way these feel in the hand. This is my favorite of the set-and so far I've only had to sharpen the knife once and I've had it for quite a while now.

Bought one of these two years ago for my travel trailer. Just came back to order another one for home cause I love it so much. The price is crazy low for how good of a knife it is. Careful because this thing is really sharp!

Bought this for my daughter as a gift and she loves it! It’s great for those heavier cutting jobs like cutting up butternut squash or other larger veggies. The blade is well-balanced and the handle is comfortable.

Best knife for the price! Do yourself a favor and buy this or give as a gift. I have a lot of knives and I keep using this one. Perfect size, shape, weight, and slices like a dream.

hella freaking sharp, and super comfortable to hold. wanted to practice chopping vegetables Julien and thin sliced fast thats why I wanted a nice knife, but I can't afford to buy a nice expensive wustof. this was only 30 dollars and its already a nice 8 inch blade. super ergonomic. so far, it has been a blast using this amazing knife, I don't need to buy a nakiri to feel like im doing good lol

Excellent knife, very sharp out of the box. Be warned; it is a little bulkier and heavier than the photo suggests.

Tenia un poco de duda por el peso del mango (agarradera), pero al usarlo no se siente, es una extension de tu mano, el filo es impresionante.
