MUST GET THESE SKATES!
I absolutely love the fact that I have two products in one! I have the rip skates where I can move freely without anything attaching them. Since this is my first style of product I will start with the rip skate bar to get to know my skates better. The way that the rip skate bar comes off and on is a complete cinch and it is very quickly done. The two decks are perfectly wide enough for my feet, and I am a size 6.5-7 in tennis shoes (adult size).Under each skate there are 2 inline wheels that rotate 360 degrees. When my package came it came with the two skates, the bar which attaches the skates, and allen wrenches.I saw another product similar to this one called Xglider. I saw them as just being skates which may not connect together. I was in between them for some time doing research on my own. I came to purchase the Rip skate because it provided me two rides in one! I can ride it like a rip stik, or I can ride it like inline skates.

almost perfect
My product arrived defective. The middle bar piece was broken where it attaches. Contacted Razor and they sent out a replacement part...took a while to arrive, but there was no hassle getting it. My son was using it without the bar from the get go, but he had a hard time getting use to it because of the missing bar. All in all, Razor products are very good in both use and build quality. It would have gotten five stars had it not shown up defective.

Fun toy.
Both my kids ages 9-11 enjoyed riding this. Kids that already know how to ride Ripstiks are able to pick this up no problem. It comes with a trainer bar to help the less coordinated ones like myself. The kids all enjoy riding it because it is more challenging than the Ripstiks. However, the things you can do on it are more limited. It is fun to bring to skateparks because others are amazed by it.

I bough this for my 11 year old abdvheblove it ...
I bough this for my 11 year old abdvheblove it except that one of the pieces holder to the main mottled bar fell and got lost. Researched extensively to order the new piece without success ... There is no replacement and have to be very creative to fix it myself ... If you're not handy, don't buy it, pieces get loose, lose and no replacements to be gound from the original manufacturer or part store on the web

lots of fun, poorly constructed.
i ordered two sets. my 4 and 6 year old children both love them and can ride them better than a regular ripstik. it is easier to turn the individual caster boards back and forth on these than on a regular ripstik. unfortunately, the assembly that slips into the board to hold the two boards together broke within 2 weeks on one of them, and i don't seem to have any recourse to get it fixed or returned. so on durability, i have to give it two thumbs down.

it is a nice waveboard a new thing with deattachable technique but the price and the piece dont match cuz the product is not that much good.

16-yr-old son loves it.
I purchased the RipSkate for my son's 16th birthday. He loves it. It seems very well made and sturdy. I was very surprised that he can actually use this without smashing himself to bits; it looks like the kind of thing that would instill fear into a mother's heart! So far though (2 weeks of non-stop use) he isn't broken, and neither is the RipSkate! He does wear a helmet and pads, but hasn't put them to the test because he can ride the RipSkate very well. This is a great "toy" for a teenager.

Works great but extremely hard to ride haha
Works great! Quite a bit harder to ride than the original Ripstik so I never really got the hang of it (felt like I was going to fly off and kill myself when trying to ride without the connector in the middle haha) but other than that a good product.
