In response to her first answer. You are correct they say 8Cr13MoV on the website. These knives say 8Cr14MoV on the box and knife. Emphasis on the difference between 13 and 14. Hmmm.

If it is shipping from anyone else it could be a 3rd party who has bought from us, or a knock off.

Is this drop point blade?

The SR-1 and SR -1 Lite would properly be called a clip point. There is not much difference in net effect, just in terminology; it is just a matter of whether the tapering down of the blade shape figuratively suggests being "clipped off in a lopped way" versus "dropping off in a smooth curve". But the business end is still pointy either way.

This particular Cold Steel knife is manufactured in Taiwan. That being said, it is very well constructed, very heavy duty and sharp as a razor right out of the box! This is a very good EDC knife that is up to any cutting tasks that may arise , you will not be disappointed!
