Wonderful for people with arthitic hands!
I saw one of these at my ususal bar/restaurant, and knew I needed one for home! We had been using the opener which requires the Co2 cartridges, and this will definitely save money over time. It works well, and is easy to use. It does operate slowly, which is likely for safety. It is lightweight and not too large. My husband loves how the LED light looks on our bar! The quality and perceived value are well about the price point. This would make a great thank you gift when visiting someone's home.

Makes Opening Wine Effortless
This wine opener is a game changer—no struggling with corks or broken pieces. It’s simple to use, glides the cork out smoothly, and the blue light while charging is a nice touch. The battery lasts through multiple bottles before needing a recharge, and the included foil cutter works perfectly. Sleek design that looks good on the counter too. Perfect for wine nights or hosting—highly recommend.

Nice tool, but with a 4 year life span.
I bought this on Nov. 2020, after hand surgery left me temporarily unable to do simple yet necessary tasks- like opening a wine bottle. 🤪It's compact, nicely designed, and reliable. I kept it plugged in all the time with no issues. The only negative so far is the blue light which stays on whenever the unit is in the base, fully charged or not. (Not a fan of the many small yet bright lights from all appliances! Placing a Talking Yoda figurine in front of it blocked enough of the light to satisfy me).I found it easy to use and appreciated the foil cutter. Worked well on all types of corks.Flash forward to spring 2024... Despite the constant charging, the corkscrew dies at maybe a half inch into the cork. Just slows down and dies. Having read earlier reviews, I may try to crack it open and replace the battery. But ultimately, having regained my hand strength back, I'm more likely to go back to an old fashioned, reliable, hand operated corkscrew and celebrate the loss of weird lights and needed electricity. Conclusion: unless you are recovering from hand surgery, just get a good quality non- electric corkscrew and use it for 75 years (optimistically). Best deal ever. And you can take it camping too.

Outstanding and Durable
This is the second one of these we have owned. The performance is outstanding, and the previous one lasted 6 years with frequent use. I highly recommend this opener, especially if you have something like arthritic hands and have trouble opening a wine bottle the conventional way.

Saves so much time and struggle
This wine opener is amazing. Makes opening a wine bottle so much easier and doesn’t hurt my mom’s wrist like our old one! It’s a decent size and weight. The battery life is good and it’s super easy to charge because the stand is a charger.

Good Opener
This is the second Secura opener I have bought. I work at a winery and it gets used a lot. The reason I had to get another one is the first one started spinning my corks once they were extracted and they wouldn't come out of the opener. It lasted 3 years. The second one lasted a year before it started spinning my corks. The motor in the first one is stronger and lasts longer than the second one. Overall if you are looking for one for normal use I would suggest this opener. I do believe the second one does not have as good of a motor.
