Solid range finder! Picks up the pin very quickly and gives very accurate distances. With previous range finder I was having problems with trees behind the pin that was getting picked up. Bushnell quickly picks up the pin and gives instant distance. This is the best range finder I have owned and I have used 4 or 5 different devices previously. I love it. It may be priced higher than most range finders but in this case "you get what you pay for". It's worth the price.

I purchased the Bushnell Tour V5 after I returned a Nikon Coolshot Pro Stabilized rangefinder. The Nikon rangefinder was small, very lightweight and didn't feel durable to me. It worked fine, I especially liked the image stabilization but I wasn't confident of the long term durability. I purchased the Tour V5 in it's place because I read that it had improved optics from the previous model, and it added a visual jolt to the vibrating jolt. The unit feels much more solid, has good weight to it, has a nice rubberized case and fits really well in my hand. The viewfinder is 6X magnification just like the Nikon, and appears to be just as bright. Because the Tour V5 is heavier and fits well in my hand, I don't have any issues with any hand shake and being able to target the flag or any other landmark. I also prefer the visual and vibrating jolt on the Tour V5 over the visual only target indicator on the Nikon. I also really like the bite magnet on the unit. It's very convenient when riding a cart. I bought the Tour V5 without the slope function because I never really used the same feature on the Nikon. Other reviews have mentioned issues with the jolt not working all the time. The instructions state that jolt only activates when there are multiple objects in range. If the flag is in view without other targets behind, jolt will not activate. The reading shown without jolt is the reading to the target. Overall I'm very pleased with the Bushnell Tour V5 and recommend it over the Nikon Coolshot Pro Stabilized. If able, I suggest you try both at a local retailer before you buy so you can decide for yourself.

Great Rangefinder - No slope on this model - easy to use and vibrates on target when locked on it

Pretty easy to use and very intuitive. With the limited number of buttons, almost fool proof. Great on a sunny day. Fits in my bag perfectly and I have had no issues with the magnet. Locks onto the cart without any issues of it falling off.The one issue I have run into, if there is any fog, it simply can’t function. The laser bounces off the fog and I was consistently getting readings of 7yds. This was with the pin in visual sight and visible through the view finder.Also, sometimes the lock feature doesn’t seem to want to work, but I need to play with whether there’s a distance limitation or maybe simply I’m misusing it.

Very pleased with how this range finder has worked for me. Also, reasonably priced.

I purchased this rangefinder to replace an identical unit which I left on a golf cart after playing. I hate to admit it but this is the second time I’ve lost an identical rangefinder by leaving it on a golf cart! The rangefinder is magnetized so it sticks to the frame of a golf cart. The rangefinder itself is terrific! Great, accurate yardage displayed in a crystal clear viewfinder. I highly recommend this rangefinder, just remember to put in in your bag on the 18th hole!
