This requires too much of a investment in time before it can be used
Interesting but not doable for me. Too much memorization for my 76 year old brain. I gave it a concentrated try and then gave up.

Very interesting
Nice way to remember. Actually you can develop different techniques near to each one, using the principles here explained with very good results.

Missing the "how"
It's missing the "how" to apply the technique to playing bridge or any other game. The illustrations were unclear and difficult to visualize.

Shame on You Mr. Hampton!
I do not think this book deserves any stars, it is a total waste of time and money. Why in the world would I want to memorize an animal, doll or some other object to remember a specific card. If I have to remember what object is the specific card I need, wouldn't it be easier just to remember the actual card? Mr. Hampton stick to playing and not teaching! The only reason this book received one star from me is it would not take the review without giving it at least one star.

Over promises, under delivers
The write-up on this book promises to teach you to learn every card played, in the order they're played. The reality is that it gives you a set of images mnemonically tied to the card ranks and suits, and that's it. No study plan on how to train yourself to remember with that information, or any set of drills. It's one thing to associate a card with an image, and another thing to be able to remember those images in order. All in all, a very disappointing book. Don't waste your money.

Very useful
I haven't mastered the technique yet, but I love the possibility. Highly readable. These techniques will be helpful with so much more than the game of bridge.

Waiting for Bob's Second Book
The ability to remember what's been played or whathasn't been played is a very important skill. I appreciatethe suggestions and the word associations howeverhow to use this information productively is not discussed.I'm wondering if we have to wait for Bob's second bookto find out how to apply this technique.
